  1. Picked up a few weeks ago, few things done since then: Front fogs FK front anti roll bar and coilovers fitted Milltek bought but still needs fitting Few interior trim bits to brighten up the cabin OE MK4 R32 rims Starting to get the look I'm after
  2. GB anyone on the sockets - where did you get them from
  3. Veyron episode was December 11th 2005 unless I'm very much mistaken
  4. BBC2 9pm Includes the hilarious £10k supercar challenge and tank V Range Rover
  5. No grounding at all today, went to Ultimate Dubs and then down to Ironbridge for lunch, totally forgetting that there's 600 yards of speed humps, cleared them all with no scraping
  6. Its no longer an everyday car so will see how it goes, just loks so damned aggressive now that I'm really loathe to raise the ride height
  7. Thats the back edge of the new Rieger front bumper
  8. Driven about 50 yards and damage free so far
  9. ....going to cause problems, worried about being able to get on the ferry for the Le Mans trip
  10. Living three miles away I should be there at opening time on Sunday
  11. I work for Volkswagen and last year visited more than 100 sites - great response to the cars everywhere I went, usually got back to the car to find Technicians loitering around it. Best response is from VW at Milton Keynes, senior management love the fact that someone chooses to drive a classic VW instead of one of the current range
  12. They were only badged Renaults in the UK, Alpine couldn't be used because Peugeot own the name. Bespoke platform and used the Douvrin V6 in either naturally aspirated or turbocharged form. Best looking was the wide arched BBS shod Le Mans but it was strangled by a catalyst so only produced 185bhp. They were actually pretty reliable and very highly rated as drivers cars
  13. Plate was a bargain £260 including the £85 assignment fee
  14. Tbh not had a problem with how they fit, yes they sit back from the grille but never thought it looks particularly odd, the improved light output is the main reason I bought them and they are a definite improvement
  15. Been lying around for a good six months so thought I'd fit it today, complete with all new indicators and fogs. Good time to put the new plates on too following the reg. change earlier in the week
  16. I'm negotiating with the bloke on another he's got
  17. Am I right in thinking that only bolts marked A need removing or do B and / or C need to come out as well
  18. £70 - I know its a stupid amount but I'm trying to build up a decent collection of Corrado bits and pieces
  19. ....more than I wanted to pay but seems like its pretty rare
  20. Take it to a specialist - better quality of work, damn sight cheaper and to those who care, a stamp from a specialist who cares is more desirable than a VW dealer
  21. They sold out before they were even announced, a lot rare than the SLR, faster, better handling, better looking, more practical and 1/3 of the cost
  22. Think it was £260 including assignment fee - I think a bit of a bargain
  23. Fortunately, it was only as painful as a trip to the local DVLA office to transfer to the new plate G60 AWK
  24. ......had to happen eventually, was not too painful fortunately
