    hi struan i didnt relise all this work you were doing was going on a 4x4 corrado ..i new that 4" lift kit would finish it off nicley... :lol:

    Coilover Settings

    get the car on a set of corner weights this will masivelly improve the car even once used to the coilovers... trust me i know .. had my car done and it really made all the differance .

  8. golf u bend has swage soo humm... wonder wether pipework is a bit tight/understrain maybe i used to run the sprinter one to so know there a squeeze to get in a raddo...
  9. as far as the pipework is concerned this is really the only way to have a half decent sized cooler into the fron of the corrado.. the header tanks are shaped to aid the flow into and through the core as yes wee all know inlets/outlets at 90deg to the core are not the best but we have to work with what space we have in the front of these cars and this is about the best comprimise we have found i have tryed around 10 differant shape/sized coolers in corrado's and this one is about the best so far that i have found... gazza. pipe work blowing off on the u bend ? what u bend are you using does it have swaged ends ? as this should solve your problems...

  15. we use a product made by rocoil to check for leaks but.. i guess you could use washing-up liquid as it would bubble...
  16. thats the hg vacuum reading ... on idle there is vacuum no boost this will only read when under load.

  18. the 16v head will bolt straight on .... best thing to do is join up on the 16vg60 yahoo e.groups there are lots of people in the u.s who are undertaking this conversion and could save you $10000's in free info

  20. take the alt off then you can grip it in a vice with the old belt round it to protect it..
  21. hello struan, why has the pot been set to 500ohms ? surely as the guys have a wideband there to set it up ? you should go by the readings on this not really set the pot to a certian setting btw "550 is base if no wideband available" Also timing should be checked as you have a schrick assymetrical cam etc now too. the injectors / map shouldn't be your problem. i would look more into setting the car up than changing parts .
