Been down there a lot of today along with Walesy and a couple of others, and they were absolute legends. They fixed my idling problems, removed my carbon canister, adjusted the timing which was 7 degrees out, and had my car on the rolling road for about an hour. They were so helpful, took me out for a drive in the Caddy (pics to follow at some point) and it was RIDICULOUSLY good value, couldn't recommend them enough. Thanks guys.

Right, I have a Toad Ai606 alarm, which has never played up but yesterday it started to - when I press the remote, the alarm arms but the central locking doesn't work. It also doesn't work if you press the passenger side locking pin down (the lock pin has been taken out of the drivers door), which means the passenger door is stuck shut now because I can't pull the pin back out!! Does the central locking work off a fuse, if so I can check the fuses when I get home - if not, does anyone have any other suggestions?

Owner before me, if you want to be picky. Kept meaning to get round to replace it with a semi-solid one like vibratechnics, just didnt get round to doing it. Regretting it now, struggling to get it fixed before the weekend....

Well, my crappy solid front engine mount managed to break the mounting, that the block bolts to. Great. This also meant that the Rev counter stopped working, it started off idling really high, and after playing around with it to see what was wrong, looks like it won't idle at all. Great, just before I was planning to go to Santa Pod at the weekend!! My car hates me.....

Anyone got one? Anyone got a picture of one? Anyone remember one, and want to draw me a prety picture that would be a rough representation of one? Anyone want to photoshop me one? That is all

It's a two person job unfortunately to bleed the system. One to pump the pedal, one to open and close the bleed nipple....

Whining will be wheel bearing, brakes is just air in the system somewhere, or a foofed master cylinder. Neither of them are a major job.

Yeah I will do, I'm being dead lazy about putting them in though - as you can see I put the speakers into the door, but I still need to mount, and wire up, the tweeters and crossovers. Pain in the ass really as I'm going to put them in the OE positions in the dash which means I have to make up a mount, and after taking all the interior out I really can't be assed!!!

Tough one. I love the VTEC lumps, but the VR is a different beast, it is more progressive than pure balls out adrenaline like the Tegs. It's strange that you say you haven't bonded with it, everyone I know who has had one loved them, especially my friend who had one with a turbo conversion. I'd say take one for a drive to see what you think.

Hmm...another day, another problem, this car gets me down sometimes. A couple of times, it seems like there is no boost coming from the charger. The engine revs up, but you can feel there's no boost, and if I dip the trottle a little more, then it boosts. Sometimes the boost will just cut in though, I don't always have to dip the throttle. Does this mean the charger is foofed? It doesn't feel any slower on boost, and it has only happened a couple of times...
