Thanks gibber Looks like you got a bargain at £36, this set went for £85.

Bet the guy who stole it got a hell of a shock when he put his foot down, maybe thats why he smashed it, couldn't handle the power. What did he do to it to make that lovely clean car look like that ???

I just looked but couldn't find them, have you got the link. Thanks

IIRC the S2 calipers are the ones and if you can find one, an Audi 100 turbo are the same. But I think they also use a 25mm master. I looked into this and got a M/C from the states but never found the calipers and have kinda given up.

Not sure what the gauge problem would be but £30 will get about 250 miles in my Bora 1.8T

Are the springs seated properly in the cups on the suspension arm ? You didn't have any large stone in there that the spring might be sat on ?

I work with a guy who has a Blue one, lowered a bit only. Looks like the standard 1 it parks next to but it does go and handle well. He loves it but he is a Renault man through and through. Another guy is looking for 1 to replace his Saxo (sorry to swear). With the list of cars you've had, surely you would be disapointed with a renault and its a big step backwards from an S3. Go for an RS4 or 6, that would be more of a natural progression...

It's been at some of shows this year, but I thought it had not long been built, or has it been rebuilt?

Took the C down the town today, it felt a little vague, but then when I hit a bump whilst turning into a side road, there was a bang from the front and the steering started pulling very badly to the left. Then hitting another bump (these are not large bumps, just pot holes and drains) the steering returned to its straight vagueness. I also noticed alot of judder on the steering when turning to full lock which I put down to possably a loose pump belt. I've read some of the treads about steering problems and I do have a pair of brand new hubs, bearings and lower joints which I will be replacing with new arms and poly bushes. Do you think I may need a rack aswell??

Why the Veyron didn't 'do' the Top Gear track....
GrahamU replied to VR6's topic in General Car Chat
I know for a fact that they had plenty of time to put it round the track because Bugatti told them they could have it as long as they needed !!!!! The Engineers at Bugatti also dont know why they didn't do it..... I would love to know the real reason. -
one of the worst exhaust systems I've ever seen....
GrahamU replied to steve_16v's topic in General Car Chat
I used to see a Saxo with the same style exhausts, that looked sh*t aswell -
An original Ford Gulf GT40, its kept down the road to where I work. and A brand spanking new Bentley Arnage, so far only 5 been made and not in production yet. We had it to play with for 2 weeks, it looked a bit max power as it was painted Audi RS blue, just didn't look right.

audimadmike I did the same, got a cheap Rado of the bay, originally I only got it for the lecy Recaro's and was gonna sell on with standard interior, but it had tax and MOT so I've been driving it daily and loving it. Gonna take it of the road when the MOT runs out and fix it up. Needs a wing, door, sill and spraying aswell. So my advise would be drive it for a while......... you'l love it. If you dont, then sell it.
