  1. Generally good condition, couple of chips on the front edge that have started to bubble,
  2. As said earlier, it seems to be happening across alot of forums. I used to be able to sit and read interesting posts on various forums through the evening till I went to bed, now I've run out of things to read by 9. As the cars get fewer so the people on here will fall, I sure the 'kids in corsa's' forum is buzzing
  3. Have you got a bonnet? I have an early tornado red if you need one, I not far from you
  4. Has anyone tried putting mk3 GTI skirts on? Always wanted to know if they would look ok

Hi Gareth This aways looks sweet
  8. you could try inputing audio from another head unit or you could try a 3.5mm jack to rca cable and input from an ipod If it works from another source then its the head unit
  9. How do you guys run 16's, they wouldn't fit over my calipers on 305 discs. I have 17 BBS RCs with a 5mm spacer on the front, will have to check the offset
  10. Wow... only one veiw to this thread and that was me, I've sorted it by putting some pre tension on the cable, now works fine
  11. We sub out the rapid prototype parts at work but we use this so much we are thinking of buying our own, I'm counting the days
  12. Been trying to get my bonnet release to work, the drivers side releases fine but the passenger side sticks. Its a late bonnet on a 1990 car, dont think that will make a difference. The pins seem to be aligned correctly. I can see it all work properly when the bonnet is up. I've tried pulling the cable tight but still no joy Is there any secrets to setting it up? Do I need to put some pre-tension on the cable?
  13. I car share with a guy who has the jvc and my nephew has the kenwood, I fitted both and they were easy to fit just changing the aerial thats the pain. Both good units that receive dab well even round here in technologocally backwood suffolk, both with USB and the kenwood has ipod/phone control aswell I have the Alpine CDE 136BT which I have to say has better sound quality, usb, ipod/phone control through the usb and the built in parrot blue tooth. Costs more than the other 2. If I'm honest the dab is easier to change staion on the jvc and kenwood as they show all stations from the rotary button where as the alpine will only show those on a single carier freq (unless I havent set it up right yet) I've always been an alpine fan so thats why I got that model
  14. I build parts for Fomula 1 cars and supercars (Gauging suspension parts and TPMS) I have tested and driven most current supercars including the McLaren MP4 12C and Aston Martin One77 I've been round VWs high speed track at Erha where they test the top speed of the Veyron
  15. Can anyone tell me how many amps are drawn by the starter solonoid supply from the ignition, its a big cable for switching a solonoid on
  16. I'm 42, got my first G60 at 28 and had it for 4 years, now on my 3rd rado
  17. Looks a great weekend, What team do you work for?
  18. They could be either 288 or 312 depending on what version of V5 they came of, early V5's were only 150bhp so had 288s, later had 312s when they upped the power to 170bhp. just the carriers are different Harrier, did you measure the discs when you took the calipers off?
  19. This is my old G And this is the best pic of my current, the only shiney panel
  20. Would be interested in the wing if we could arrange shipping
