  1. A few reasons, first being cost of replacing both. How come the valver needs so much pressure for the fuel system? I read a few posts before posting, It seems not all corrados had 2 pumps e.g. early G60, not sure about VR6.
  2. 2.0 16v Replacing Both Fuel Pumps, is it poss to use just one uprated pump? Has anyone done this? what pump do you use and how much does it cost?
  3. Yep my fronts seemed to catch worse than the rears. I went for clear indicators and M3 stlye lights on the back, as the front is all clear, guess it is just personal pref. I did look on memebers gallery as well just to check out my options. As for bulbs think they only come in one size. Also for my side indicators I found the new seals were crap (leaked) and ended up using a set of new geniune ones
  4. I had use 5mm spacers on my front as well after I dropped the suspension. Tyre was catching the coilovers
  5. Looks Bang On mate!!!! Did you use spacers on your alloys? Also what suspension did yoo go for?
  6. FK AK Coliover kit - FK budget suspension - very good Q for price and is height adjustable
  7. Cheers guys, not a bad fit. Mine was the flimsy version, so I I used some extra strong corded multi purpose tape on the underneath, juust to make it more rigid as well. The scuttle was just off an old mk2 golf, just noticed the group buy off the full length scuttle has gone ahead as well. As for dimensions would be hard to measure as there are a few curves on the top of the scuttle and underneath it, the mk2 is a very good fit.
  8. I also used the rubber strip that goes on top of the golf bulkhead. This holds down the top of the cover to the corrados windscreen plastic bit. There was no need to remove the plastic bits under the wipers. I also trimmed the edges of the rubber strip to clear the bonnet hinges, see pic 4 for close up. Should hopefully keep all the crap out!
  9. bingo.......mmmmm wonder what other bits will fit ! LOL  some bits are not right, just need to cut and stick though
  10. Gutted I did not got to E38, I therefore had too much time on my hands this weekend gone. As it was raining saturday, I was indoors. I was playing arround with the scuttle cover, be honest guys what do you think? it certainly covers alot more stuff than the old one: and it cost me nowt!

  14. Nice job mate!! looks cool 8) Need to start saving my pennies!
  15. Front lip scrapes as it is allready!!! Don't know how you guys gets away without scraping your sumps / exhaust off?
  16. Cheers guys! :) Have now changed fronts to pirellis, what a diffrence!
  17. Thanks, Can't belive I have had it nearly a year allready! I have finished with exterior now - need to tweak the engine! Maybe swap to a G60 lump?? :D
  18. Thanks! Had heard people say that BBS rims were lighter etc, never realised how much of a diff it would make! The grip from 7" to 7.5" wide is massive as well. I went for FK AK Coilovers - got them from germany for about £230 delivered! At the same time I replaced all rubber mounts front and rear for peanuts - sourced these from - http://www.vwspares.co.uk. I thought my new suspension would be harsh - but after 10+ years the original was well and truly knackered, the ride is superb compared to my old setup.
  19. Excuse me while I wipe the droll off my mouth! car looks 8)
  20. Should have seen it before!
  21. Thanks Yep they are RX's (courtesy of Bally and a few notes! ). I Love them, the difference they have made to the feel of the car is massive. I had 7 x 17, 5 spokes on there before, dunno if these are lighter or something?
  22. Spacers you can pick for halfords arround £15 a set or look on ebay. Anywhere that sells alloys should do the longer bolts. Personally I think you could get away with bigger spacers on the rear, to help push the alloys out and fill the arches. I am going to post some pics of my car up in a bit, if you want to take a look
