  1. Nice motor! Good choice of alloys - I just got the same ones  I have FK Coliovers on mine and had to use spacers - tyres just felt to close for comfort to the shocks! Defo makes it looks better though - I used 5mm spacers all round.
  2. Answer is....... ....KOSEI, not sure off the offset, but think they are of a Jap motor
  3. Thanks, will try getting more info out of the seller!
  4. I have no other info on them apart from them being 17's, also the centre caps are missing. Seems a bit dodgey to me as the guy is marketing these as BBS rims. I thought BBS did not make multifit rims? am I wrong in this assumption?
  5. Hi Bill, Just stuck some FKs on mine, I did not use the holders and wired them up as per Glens instructions. Seem to work fine, nothing has blown up yet!
  6. Hell yea! That's the great bit, once I went to fill up and I noticed some old bloke was looking at me weird, I went to get out to fill up and my cap was stuck, so he came over and said "Awesome cars, my daughter had one and I was in a Storm last night" and even helped me with my cap :) I agre with 5 spokes though, they look great. Heck it has even grown on the missus now! She had to drive it the other week as I had drunk a few pints. Being in MK what with all the roundabouts, She could not belive how well it handled and how fast you could take the round abouts (quite scary!)
  7. Cheers Bally. Was hoping to come to the meet this sunday, but the C is back at the paint shop now! getting a few more bits sorted inc the unsightly scuff on the rear bumper.
  8. Awsome car mate! Amazing attention to detail!
  9. The standard Corrado is such a beautiful, the car looks great from all angles, unlike so many so called hot hatches past and present. Took it into work a few weeks back, some old guy was admiring it in the car park. The C seems to appeal to all ages.
  10. Cheers, I personally love 5 spokes, they seem to suit all cars and date very well. My alloys look OK, though the offset is all wrong though, even with 5mm spacers all round! As for the drop, think the front needs to come up a tad, as my front splitter is not making very nice noises over speed humps!
  11. Finally lowered courtesy of FK! also added FK grill and M3 lights!
  12. Thanks all. Will give GPC a bell.
  13. Need to replace the roof runners on my C how much do these cost new, are they geniune VW items only?
  14. Know someone who fitted the lupo ones and hates them! They are looking to go back to standard!!
  15. The brakes on my N reg valver are spot on, all standard too. Just recently bled the system, they reckon it is suppose to be done every 2 years as the recommended DOT4 is hydroscopic (or whatever you call it!) Talking about standard stuff, I have found my wipers work very well too, at all speeds.

Depends how much you are paying for it dude and what the age and condition of the motor is generally like. If you are new to Corrados the last thing you want to do is get one that will p*** you off from day 1 unless it is a bargain - trust me I know.
  17. If you have a electric supply in there (light etc) you could easily power a decent burglar alarm, they are dirt cheap to buy direct and easy to wire.
  18. Sorry to be nosey what are you going to do with your BK299s?
  19. Can't believe my S**t luck, was only changing the shocks and thought I may as well stick some new pads in and bleed the system aswell. Seen on vagcat you the valve is a seperate item, don't suppose anyone knows the cost?
  20. Hi just wanted to know if anyone had managed to snap a bleed valve on the front caliper! and what would be the best way to remove it? There is about 2mm left hanging out but the metal is soft, is the best way to drill it out? Thanks
  21. Well cooler for the engine!!! My old rad, not bad for 11 years graft! now replaced with geniune VW, also hammerited the metal fan shround and lubed the fan. Other mods, changed engine mounts, as you can see front one has come apart, so was long over due! Has made a massive difference!
  22. This is my valvers 11 year rad taken out last weekend, not looking too bad hey? - Orignal VW I tried ECP and GSF - GSF rad was shocking would not fit (out by 6mm), the ECP one looked only slighlty better. Both rads had the build quality of a box of cornflakes - in fact probably would have been better off using a box of cornflakes wrapped in foil for a rad! In the end went to Wayside VW and bought a proper VW one (Marsden), I thought I may as well be cheeky and asked for a discount, got me 10
  23. Cheers guys. Will sleep better knowing that! Trip to VW tommorow! I just assumed if it needed a washer it would come with the switch, GSF don't seem to list one and did not recommend one either.
