Welcome to the forum, happy hunting...

Id agree with Leon, sell your spares on their own... It is a great looking Rado, id be wanting 3k for it but as mentioned someone is gonna have to put it right to get it to former glory...
-
From what i know the 268 cams wont work brilliantly with the charger and will need to be changed either back to standard of to 248s...
-
Just had a peep at the reciept... 169.99 delivered...
-
I think it was about 160 notes...
-
Just tell them its for a VR and it comes in the kit.... Very quick delivery from Stealth, i ordered mine one afternoon and it was here the following day....
-
Not bad he says, they look great Karl, good work.... What you done to the rears??
-
Sounds like it could be as teh compressor would be mounted below your alternator... Do you have a condensor (refrrigerant rad) mounted in front of your colling rad???
-
The BMC isnt soecific to the Rado or the Golf, there is one for smaller engines (sub 1.8 i think) and then a larger one.. You need an adaptor to make it fit the maf, its a piece of silicon hose available from ebay..
-
Gutted for you mate.. Could you be a star and knock up a how do for this including all the bits needed as id like to do mine before it goes and my beige carpet goes pink...
-
Gorgeous, cracking car...
-
I used to have the same happen to mine and i use AG Ultra Deep Shine. I clayed my car earlier in the week and now its fine, it looks like a green mirror.. Id give the clay bar a go and see how you get on..

Ill second that, no cold air feed on mine yet but ill be binning the carbon canister and fitting it shortly...
-
Thats what i thought, im sure the only thing that was not always standard ( in terms of steering) was the height adjustable steering column..
-
The one ive driven did, im gonna take a guess that yes it will have it..
-
It will be possible, tyre size would depend on the width of the rim.. Whats wrong with your 15s??
-
From memory the one on 'that' engine is ok, might be worth offering your current one up for a swap on here.. So youve managed to score yourself a pair of 268s at the same time...
-
No idea brand new but the going rate for either metal or plastic second hand is about 30 quid..
-
The gaskets are about 10 to 15 quid.. There are no pros or cons to either, the metal one looks better against my schrick, i polished mine but in a dull finish so its not too bling. If you shotblasted your it would be good as new and match your VSR nicely..
-
You can swap them, i did the reverse and sold my plastic one for a metal one.. Its a different rocker cover gasket so when ordering state its for a late (94-95) one as they arent interchangeable. THe late one doesnt use the same nuts and studs to fix it, they are built in to the plastic cover...
-
The late ones came with a black plastic one...
-
Sounds like you have the same problem as me with the relay bank, mine is hit and miss as the relays have seen better days...
-
Not and ideal way to recieve a headlight lense, some people just dont think...
-
You shouldnt need to do anything with the fluid if youve just been doing a disc and pad change.. You can push the pistons in using a screwdriver as a lever..
