My take is less effort for comparible or increased amounts of friction without causing then disc to be stationary, therefore no lock up and activation of the ABS. As stated all to do with leverage across the disc and increased pad contact either through larger pad and or more force being applied through more pistons.. In short they just are better, thats why super cars have brakes that are bigger than our wheels...

Well due to a change in plan i have a bit more time at home so a bit more car play continues.. Today i got a few jobs done on the interior.. I reminded myself how much i don't like refitting door cards, the passenger side top plastic trim was split so it had to go.. I also needed to have a look at the heater blower after the it only works on speed 4, the old motor came out ok and no wonder it didn't work, the cabling was badly charred, still with continuity across the motor though and the thermal resistor was shot. I had managed to get another from a scrappy that was 2 years younger so a one for one swap and all speeds back on, result.. Lastly, the lower console trim had screw holes in it.. All looking very tidy underneath and for some reason the paint colour is written there, strange.. Its only partially put back together as I'm waiting for a delivery from MJ interiors.. Other than that I'm on a big parts collecting mission, i am quite shocked how many things have become obsolete in my few years away so I'm hoarding..

It is a shame, you have done an awful lot to that car.. Same line, as always heard on here, give it time, you'll return..

I have never heard of that, i thought it was because they have no tire laws and there are a lot cars on slicks as a result..

I have had a look around at prices and all is good however does anyone where is best to buy them? Anyone from here bought from there, any American residents on here that can advise? Ill have an address while I'm there for postage or I'm talking Florida/Georgia border area.. Any clues or advice appreciated...

How do you know when it's time to sell the Corrado?
Goldie replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
It sounds very familiar.. All Corrados will need work though, no matter how clean... -
What spec will you run them as? The bottom ones look very Borbet ish with some extra detail...

How do you know when it's time to sell the Corrado?
Goldie replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
Buy one that doesn't need paint, 2 good ones popped up yesterday for respray money.. Take all the good bits from the two cars and break what you have left.. Not the easiest option but in the long run a lot of money saved...
