You should be able to just undo it make sure the car is stone cold though, you may have a bit of coolant come out of the top hose when you disconnect it but just cable tie it out the way and replace the elbow. Hope yours is just a simple fix as in just the elbow and o ring as when we went to replace the GF's car elbow we could see a split right down the radiator itself so had to get a new rad Good luck
  2. Glad your liking the remap fella Dave suggested i run it on mine and having run it for a good 500-600 miles now loving the instant throttle response just half the gas gives a nice pull even at low speeds :D

  11. Haha will do mate just as long as the door opens and closes by the time Ive finished i will be happy :D used loads of rust penetration the nut is nearly round after i had finished with it small job turns into a time consuming job lol

  14. When you say the larger covers a obsolete which one do you mean the material one ?? Just got a new material one myself and was told that it was the last one in stock??

Ive just got some new door lock pins (the ones the door mechanism latch onto when you shut the door) anyway undid the nut and it felt like the captive nut that the bolt screws in to was loose is that right ?? Once i take it all the way out the captive nut isnt going to drop into the door is it? Ended up tightening it up as didnt want to be able not to shut the door wimp lol!! Cheers Jon

  20. rubber mounting part number - 535 121 275 - £3.60 each Hexagonal head bolt m6 x 15 - part number - +N 010 215 27 - 26p each As for the metal bit the bolt is stuck in maybe you can get away with drilling the remnants of the broken bolt out so you can then put the new bolt through it, if not new ones are available from the stealers

  22. I know you definately cant buy just the gasket from your local VW dealer they make you buy the whole aerial unit so i think most people have just bought the gasket thats in your link fella
