Just been to get rear wheel bearings for the VR they are part number 191 598 625 and cost was £24.64 each

Going off the pic on page 1 looks like on a mk2 golf switch that the wire that Dave is cutting wont connect to a pin because there isnt one

Screw Ring / Compression Ring, & other Fixings Advice Needed

I replaced the compression ring fixings on my vr6 with jubilee clips as in your first pic, got them from halfords have had no problems with them in the 2 years since replacing them and at least now i dont have to p!ss around with them stupid rings fixings :D They were for the radiator pipes -
Sorry i forgot i used some krust on it first then metal primer then back hammerite!!

if theres no major holes prime it and hammerite it ive seen a lot worse

whether the mk2 headlight switch will stop the loom fire is another problem :shrug:

Previous owner of my car installed a MK2 golf headlight switch after the original one broke fingers crossed havnt had a problem with it yet and doesnt look too out of place :D
