On mine the top two slats are filled in and the bottom one is open but technically the grille is the same as all vr6's apart from it being colour coded, doesnt matter if you get one with all the slats open either(better cooling in the summer 8) )

Been looking into this too. I have upgraded to 288 fronts and have been wondering about about going to 312. Can I keep the same calipers and just change to discs or am I being stupid? Also, what is required to do a 280 rear set-up? You need different carriers and discs the pads and calipers can be reused

Hi i need a company to do my fuel tank straps sandblasting and powdercoating in either the manchester area or nottingham preferably but can possibly travel to get them done, they are off the car so can possibly send off. Any one know of anywhere i want one place to do the both the blasting and the powdercoating all im getting in reply to emails is we can do one but not the other?? Cheers Jon

Have you got them on Lupo arms, TT arms, or other? look like Lupo to me... Mine are on tt arms mate and fit

Just got ECU relay and fuel pump relay so will fit them tomorrow and see if that sorts it -

if you can afford a g60 or vr6 now is the time to buy one as the prices are cheap atm. 16v are similar insurance as the vr and g60 aswell Looks like a nice 16v

what sort of R32 are the coppers using in Coventry? Passat I assume? always good to know ;) Ive heard they are using Golf R32's now to try and tempt the boy racer to speed

You can fit a golf part to make them one touch up and down maybe thats what he done to his! One touch up was stopped as kids were getting their heads trapped etc, 94 may have been the year it changed to only one touch down -
