Found it working better without using the pressure bleeder, doing it the old fashioned way of one person pressing the pedal and one on the bleed nipples worked better

I find new cars its a case they are either off or on, no inbetween slow braking

I had to cut my old hand brake handle off no way it was coming off any other way

The smaller arm underneath motor should be parallel to the smaller linkage

Just thinking aswell do you have any air leaks from any of the intake parts on the engine worth a look

No worries we are all here as a team. If you wernt so far away id VAGCOM it for you mate, hopefully it throws up a fault. Have you taken it out for a spin? Whats performance like? Also could it be a dodgy batch of petrol

Youve done the obvious stuff then mate, all you can do is go through each part that is used on start up, ignition switch, ht leads etc

What were your symptoms before you changed the fuel pump? What have you had changed on the car electrical etc? Had it vagcommed?

I would have thought low pressure would mean that you would have crappy performance. Have you checked the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail?

Dont forget dials over and under read with age

If youve got 15 on your dials then it should be 70litre tank Stonejag - i got 5 too i think theres a bracket that holds two straps with one bolt

Bit later than i planned to but the wiper linkages have been sent to WIPEX LTD today so they should get them on Monday. So its just a waiting game now Jon
