Get a multimeter on it then you can at least rule out which wires are good/bad

Right ordered some new ones from VW (bro did) part number N 900 084 01 And they are no longer allen key bolts they are regular hex head is this right? Have they been superseeded? Are these new bolts alright to use? Cheers Jon

Nope no problem, what usually happens is when the clutch is replaced the thrust bearing gets replaced too but they have to be lubed up a lot before being put in. Which doesnt happen and then people are left with that noise -

Yeah i use a weight lifting bar when removing them bolts goes over the breaker bar and sticks out far enough in front of the car to saves climbing underneath, used it on my car and the GFs VR and has worked a treat everytime [ATTACH]74679[/ATTACH]

Check wiring aswell
