  1. Bit of an update, since taxing the C from January i managed to crack my front screen, will teach me to use it with all the salt & grit on the roads! so having a new one fitted this week.Really hoping it all goes well. Better news is i won best Corrado at Elsecar last weekend & enjoyed a great time with some fellow CF'rs. So this weekend decided to treat car to a wheels off jet wash and clean to get rid off any nasty salt & next weekend plan a waxing session to get it ready for Stanford Hall next month. Hoping my next post is to say screen is in & all is well !
  2. 17's , & thanks Chris & nice to meet you & the other guys.
  3. Just renewed CCGB membership & put my name down for Stanford, might be up for camping too.
  4. Excellent pictures Lucasz. You said you might be able to send me some ? I really like the close up on my nsr wheel & the second one down on this page. Could you email them to me or what would be the best way to do it ?
  5. Thanks Kip ! Had a very enjoyable time with a top bunch of people. It was an interesting/different venue.Long drive home but well worth it,especially with winning a trophy.thanks again for your hospitality
  6. Good work, shame about cam sensor fault. Bit strange-hope you sort it soon
  7. Watched the TVR Cerbera episode again tonight & i keep thinking i might like one, which is probably a really bad idea ! The rust in the chassis seems to be a common problem .Fantastic looking car though. Must be a middle age thing though, wanting one !
  8. Looking forward to this next week & really hoping weather improves a bit. Just discovered some of it is inside ? Is the CCGB stand inside & how much is outside ?
  9. Would completely avoid the sensors that you solder the wires, try & get a Bosch sensor ,they may not be the cheapest but they are the best
  10. Looking really good, i jet wash my Kw's regularly & spray them with WD40. Still look like new
  11. I think the Satin Silver has a particularly nice shine to it
  12. Wasn't looking for a set especially but just interested if anyone had them as they look really good, very nice Skills !
  13. Was pleased to receive this sales brochure from manop001 today,a nice thing to have and while browsing through it noticed these rather nice wheels they had as an option, called 'Brands Hatch' alloys .Just wondered if anyone had them fitted on their C ?
  14. A lot of manufacturers use them, just don't lose the socket. They are really hard to remove !
  15. This is what i have from an Astra,around 2002 i think,got it from a breakers yard
  16. I'll have it please.pm me your details .pay pal ok ?
  17. It didn't quite make sense that it would work ok in tiptronic mode but would slip in Drive mode ? Anyhow imagine how sick the seller would have felt letting it go for £1k !
  18. Looks really nice & tidy, agree about the wheels though.
  19. Congrats on the trophy ! Car looks ace. I've got a 4hr drive to Elsecar soon, furthest i have travelled to a show & i'm hoping weather improves somewhat or could be into some more serious cleaning. Its spotless now !
  20. A cheap option ,if you or if you know someone with a mig welder cut open cat ,remove contents & weld it back together !
  21. I am looking a getting a replacement screen now & have been quoted £280 which seems reasonable. My motor trade policy doesn't cover windscreen damage, the fitter has done a few for me in the past & i know & trust his workmanship. My only worry is it isn't a genuine screen though he says he has fitted them before without any problems. Has anyone had problems with non gen screens ?
  22. Now you have established you have a spark & fuel it could be the engine flooded.Could try a new set of plugs & try starting with fully charged battery & accelerator pedal to floor,& or a tow start
