  1. The Black car would look cool on its original Pirreli P's i'm trying to convince him to get a set of polished 15"s. The car is now significantly lowered and to retain the OE cloth insets the seats are going to be reupholstered in half leather.

  2. You'll be telling us Ferraris, Porsches and the like are quicker too no doubt.

VWs are cool not fast it just so happens the Corrado has loads of one and a fair bit of the other 8)

  4. Love it! These early MK2s with the MK1 style side stripe decals are becoming rare now. The car looks standard, don't mess with it just repair the seat they're too rare to spoil. These early ones look so light in appearance compared to the later ones. Top Car :!:

  5. You've just got to love such a rare genuine Limited Edition car, the unique features really add to the cars appeal and rarity.

So much better than the usual badge engineered notion of a Limited Edition. :D

  6. They're from the same range and quite similar to the RH Cup Evos fitted to A20LEE the Dark Burgundy Pearl Corrado. I believe they are an 8x17 and look excellent in the stock arches. There are pics in the members gallery. I think they are one of the few designs to really compliment the appearance of a Corrado. Should look cool. 8)

  7. I know people have done this before, just a couple of quick questions. I intend to keep them to prevent dentsetc but i'm considering colour coding.

Do you think they will look good on a Silver car?

Is it best to remove them for painting or do them insitu?

How much is it for a new full set of all six pieces?Does anyone other than main dealers stock them?

    Thanks

  8. They are going on the Corrado a Satin Silver VR6. I detailed the polished set to add a subtle difference to the appearance in case too much silver cancelled out the impact if you follow my reasoning. Having got the second set I kike em both!

  9. OK you win!

Its an awful lot quicker to say it than do it. :!: Having gone to the trouble to detail the polished set they looked too good and too much like hard work to use everyday. However and heres the rub, I wanted the car to look that way pretty much all year round (OE Speedlines fitted during Winter) so and I realise I have sanity issues, I sourced an untouched second set.

With identical tyres on both there should be a seemless transition and a spare if needed. :D
