  1. we have a little company called Stealth Racing over here in the UK Vince hacks into the OE ECU & then remaps them on the rollers as the VR requires a live mapping, rather than a static map such as can be uploaded on more modern cars sorry this doesnt help you much over in canada but it may give you a lead to hunt down somewhere over there who could do the same
  2. exhaust will depend on where you are located & budget i have a Longlife stainless on mine, 2.5" from downpipe back with a hiflow cat which was custom fabricated on the vehicle which i absolutely love
  3. have a look at VW Heritage IIRC they have reproduced the carpets if not then try VW Classic Parts in Germany or there are several breakers who may have some
  4. they are the wheels used on several ferrari's including the F40 πŸ˜„
  5. no m8 im not far from birmingham - i will ask the guy next time i see him for you
  6. ha ha ha thanks m8 no pics yet as the sign is currently making my kitchen look pretty but i will post some once it is installed in the workshop - it is going to take up most of the back wall in there & hopefully improve the lighting lol
  7. thanks shaun - i will go see what the fitment calculators say about a 225 ive a feeling 225 rears with 205 front will look rather porntastic!!! πŸ˜„
  8. thanks cressa am still in a bit of shock at buying the wheels - they were not cheap at all & need centre caps & split pins to complete them, which ive already found repro's on ebay i do need to decide what colour to go for, which is a toughie!! they are going on the blackberry VR6 which currently has black speedlines which i really like & have bright yellow 4 pots on the front - im thinking polished lips but do i go black centre, white centre or a trendy kind of graphite grey ish wheel fitment & tyre choice seems like a dark art lol
  9. where abouts are you located? i may be able to source you one if you want me to ask?
  10. it is destined for my workshop wall πŸ˜„
  11. thanks - ive wanted these for so many years i cant quite believe ive brought some lol good day for VW related things today as this just arrived too & with the LED backlights
  12. a small update as today i have purchased a unicorn - one that i have been looking for on & off for 10 years i missed a set on here about 8 years ago but today i made the jump as i swore not to miss out again they need some work but the last things on my desirable list for the VR6 are these & a VDO console 16" Autostrada Modena 3 piece split rims - specifically 16" by 7J ET +41 & 16" by 8J ET +51 so even a nice small stagger front to rear ive had a look on a will they fit calculator & i think i will just need small spacers to get the rears to fit - i already run 10mm spacers on the front so as to clear the HiSpec 4 pots so think fronts will be ok if any of our wheel expert people on here could offer any assistance with fitment & tyre choice i would be grateful - im thinking 205*45*16 on the front & 215/45/16 on the rear but maybe 225
  13. have a look through the wiki guides on here & a general read around lost of helpful people on here as well πŸ™‚
  14. good idea - will these flag up for us mods to approve in the same way spam is flagged?
  15. thanks m8 the washers had to be tackled as there was no way i was cutting the carbon bonnet - i will try & get some pics & upload them once it has gotten a little warmer it is nice that they spread the washer fluid as they move rather than the static jets just hitting a small area
  16. where the hell did you find that!!??
  17. i really must get a pic of the VR6 front end with the Hella covers on, they make it look great
  18. quick update - will get some pics soon but my god why had i not fitted lupo wipers before now - what a difference! also had to install some blade located washer jets as didnt want to cut the carbon fiber bonnet & they wash great as they move with the wipers & cover the entire screen highly recommended!!
  19. chicken dinner - sounds very healthy πŸ˜„

  21. late model ones too & brand new - these may command a hefty sum! crazy really when i couldnt sell an entire corrado for 2 grand lol
  22. as long as you are happy that is the main thing appreciate your thanks m8 & am glad the looms turned out as well as they did - was well worth persevering with the OE connectors
  23. hello m8 just out of interest have you checked the actual light output differences between stock & uprated loom? i run ring xenon max bulbs in both my rado's with the uprated looms & the difference to standard is definitely visible
