if you pop the interior light out - careful of the tiny bracket on the LHS which can come off but easily put back on unscrew the 2 screws you can see holding the interior light cover onto the roof & slide it towards windscreen a touch to get out you will then see the sunroof motor & there should be an allen key attached to it. there is a small cover over the allen key hole which will gently move aside. it will then be a case of trying to get a screw driver or similar to push the broken slider back into position a little at a time as you wind the roof shut manually with the allen key it is a wriggle but possible with patience other option could be to try & remove the roof panel itself so as you can get to the broken slider from the top (outside) & then wind & jiggle shut

wow - reasonably priced!!! well, cheap in fact lol

it is normally possible to tell if a car has 'full closure' - IE the windows & sunroof close on the alarm - by locking the drivers door with the key & holding it in the lock position, this activates the closure some do just windows but some do sunroof too for example on my '90 valver just the windows close but on the '95 VR the sunroof does too in terms of how the alarm hooks into such i recall the guy who fitted the one on the valver say it is just one wire which needs connecting into the car

tidy - i wasnt sure if i had already sent it you lol the air flow is basically a T section in the middle & 2 arms going to each side - all will become clear one you start there are pictures & description from when i did the valver's on my build thread too if you want to see rado's can seem that way m8 but i always tell myself i save many £'s a year on not having a monthly payment for a 'new' car & new cars are more of a pain when they break, which is more often than we think, cause they are so complex

thanks fender i too really did dread the job but thanks to the guide & lots of envelopes & labeling it really wasnt too tough at all - a few scraped knuckles at the worst i am wondering / hoping i can re-felt the air box without physically removing it
-
tidy thanks EJ :) might be worth leaving as Vince has setup for a while, he does know his apples ;) lol

nice pics & glad it is running well - i do love your wheels! lol fingers crossed about the piston ring i see you have the devils own kit in - any verdict on it & how it is performing? am i right it basically helps run more power but with lower oil temps? it looks tidy in the boot anyhoo :) on a slight tangent - is your the place your dad works at mega money for body & restorations? i know they work with porker's etc & the gallery on the site looks tidy, do they offer any guarantee's on the paint work? also, have they any experience with plastic welding i need to start looking into places for the VR but i have been burnt by body shops previously - as my poor VR bonnet displays currently :(

agree the misting shouldnt be happening & is normally caused by matrix as for the poor air glow on the LHS it could be that the ducting behind the dash has become disconnected or loose. it only takes a join to be slightly out to loose lots of air flow if you have changed the blower motor itself the air flow should be good unless there are gaps in the ducting IIRC you can get to the LHS section & where it joins the centre T part by removing the under tray & glove box if you want a guide with lots of pictures on how to change the matrix by dash removal drop me a PM with your email address. it is a fairly simple but tricky ish job also, could be worth preparing yourself to have to reline the air box which controls the air direction. i did not re-felt the one in my valver when i put a new matrix in last year & now am looking at pulling the dash out again to do so as i only get luke warm air when on hot as the air box is not cutting out the cold feed

i have been thinking of CF wings & bonnet in place of painting them when the VR has a full respray but dont know if it would leave me many £'s for the rest of the car
