  1. I agree with gavin, yet I still neglect to get the charger fixed.... got to pass smog/MOT first.... I just failed... on a happier note, I can claim 190bhp! but thats cause Ive spent 17000 US...... =-D, still lookin forward to that lysholm charger... =)
  2. bingo! but once again NOx levels.. will changing my pully and reseting my timing fix that?
  3. the smog guy says, your NOx levels are too high, 1200, should be 750. will changing my pully and reseting my timing fix that? also on a funnier topic, he said my idle was inconsistent, ISV sticking, and he said that my car was "modified" and that I had a non CARB approved "turbo". I told him to shut the f*ck up, he laughed at me.... I then told him he was stock and he laughed again, then I explained corrado's and how VW made a supercharged 4 cylinder engine... he looks it up... "HOLY CRAP, they did make one!" DUR!!!!!! told him that he should think of a new job cause he cant spot stock from not, I also told him that if my car hadnt passed smog because of his blatant error I would report his shop (most definitely illegal chop shop, very obvious) to the department of motor vehicles... after that all I got was this sad look from him and he shut up... >=-)

    wheel offset

huh, maybe I should just go with the ASA AR1 with the 38mm offset... grr I like the PIAA's tho, I drive over 120 a lot... dont ask... so I want something that can handle the speed.

    wheel offset

oh well here then! http://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2343995.phtml and these as well... spacers really affect it that much? are you sure cause my friend ran spacers up to 160 mph no wobble in his S/C trans am...could be different balance wheel tho... http://www.edgeracing.com/wheel/1089/ I really like em tho...
  6. uh you can get them from GPRParts.com for 38 US.... thats where I got mine.... they are the neuspeed ones, got to drill a bit for it to fit and all but they work great! H8RRA, not my choice in song either it just happened to be tuned to BPM when the picture was being taken, I listen to ethel XL, more of an alternative rock guy myself... DAB...digital audio broadcasting... yeah its close, u guys have DSAT for in home units... kinda the same thing, ours is just better =-D... kidding...

    wheel offset

Looking for something nice and complex more like ASA AR1's or BBS wheels, though I am looking for something with a nice lip on it. about 30mm lip on the outer portion of the wheel before any pattern starts emerging, dont know what to look at... lip like this design like this.... better quality wheel tho... http://www.tirerack.com/servlet/CallJsp ... erSpecial= oops aparently they are somewhat BBS... In 1990, ASA decided to build a state-of-the-art alloy wheel manufacturing facility. Knowing the complexity and challenge this presented, ASA went to BBS in Germany to tap the best technical knowledge in facility design, manufacturing processes and quality controls for producing high quality alloy wheels. Production began at the new facility in Jeywon, South Korea in March 1992. something like a PIAA sport mesh.... exactly like that but cheaper.... also can I use something with a 42mm offset? the standard corrado offset is 35mm apparently...would an 8mm spacer fix this?
  8. ok I know my charger does the same thing, or at least I think its the charger, I'm worried about it though, gonna have it rebuilt by Kompressor Kanada to stage IV spec, wish they had a stage V tho... hopefully they will put in a remanufactured main shaft into the charger if that knocking noise is the charger... thermostats... here this is what I have... http://www.bahnbrenner.com/media/php/ca ... 6&catid=83 get the fan switch as an option... stays about 177F all the time. =-)
  9. jonocos, yeah a tip make sure you have plenty of time to change the rack as it requires dropping the subframe and jostling a lot! the spline is gonna be your best friend (worst enemy) by the time you are finished with it. I pushed mine in lifted the subframe and tapped it with a hammer from the engine bay to get it in. scarlett, yeah I know the feeling, ever see gone in 60 seconds? yeah well thats my car, if you so much as kick her she will fight back and I am not joking either, its funny to watch if your my friends. =-) today I finished the install on the XM sattelite radio for my car, used a Roady 2 and put it where the sunroof switch is. check it out on the custom install thread. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... 470#289470
  10. first off what is: "GolfIII gas INXX rams" 2nd off, PhatVR6, I got a buddy running 17x9 BBS RS301's in colorado, US. sorry to burst your bubble, though they are 9 inches and not 7.5 like the real ones, he has a lip obviously. Nosky, I seriously think you have a death wish....kevhaywire you might have one as well... 3rd, I just finihsed custom install of my XM sattelite radio system in my car, used a Delphi Roady2.
  11. I really want to see this car in person, maybe I will buy a plane ticket for E38.... when is that again?
  12. well mine does that too..... I always thought it was normal.... some things I just dont understand on this car... kinda like how poorly designed the glovebox is.
  13. I have a 1990 US air conditioned corrado, since removed the condenser for the mocal cooler, replaced everything but the after run/on switch which is currently on order, DO I have to have the condenser plugged in for the fan to work? my AC compressor isnt even plugged in.... so what do I need to do?
  14. STUPID CO MACHINE! my power does the same thing his does, at random times, however my hoses are all intact.... would this be bad grounding?
  15. heres where I drove to break my bilstein sport setup with H&R sport springs at 11:00 PM last night, some of the corners really sneak up on you! downloaded sattelite images of them but all you can see is trees.
  16. whoa, just looked at the interior of that car, how much weight do you think you gained with all that bondo and fiberglass? and why the concept look, dashing I might say! its gonna look good for sure, fresh paint and a best in class and best of show award on the ground in front of it!
  17. oh look everyone its the funny kid from PVW with the audi TT interior, chopped porsche wheels, and uber nice paint job, love the car!!! wish there were more engine mods for being in PVW and all. good job chap! keep it up!
  18. yeah I know how those speedbumps knock out foglights, expecially when u dont see them at 70 miles per hour in a lowered corrado, dunno about those french ones though, hehe heres a pic of the one I hit, twas a fun trip through the air though, glad I replaced the steering 2 weeks ago! http://www.tbray.org/ongoing/When/200x/ ... 8/Bump.png about that size too ;-)
  19. what headlights are those, does anyone know if those would fit a corrado? I think I have seen them in a 16V before
  20. 42 lbs of fuel per hour, they are like the bosch red tops which use 30 pounds of fuel per hour but use 12 pounds more fuel per hour. they make everything go go go, you can buy 110# injectors for race too. eiptuning.com
