I believe steve mac was talking about the arches on this corrado at one particular time, he enjoyed the pull on them, 202mph is a very fast corrado... a very very fast corrado...

I was called "a bl**dy boy racer" yesterday in the
potatonet replied to PoorMansPorsche's topic in General Car Chat
first off I will admit to being a boy racer sometimes, it just happens... =-0. I do admit we have issues like you people with your rover 25's with our big overprice and oversized Sport Utility vehicles, the problem is you cant roll up to their window and say anything because they are 10 feet above you. Driving on our freeway here and was speeding along in the right lane, some lady wanted to get over and I didnt notice, well she got behind me and then cut out and passed me going 95 mph with her daughter in her for expedition SUV, she cuts back in right in front of me, and she didnt take the next exit so I know that wasnt it. Now I want to hear what others would have done at this point. here's what I did, boy racer as I am, mind you there is a bit of traffic. got up on her ass, about 1" away revved my engine BLASTED my new air horns and cut aside her, at that point she "brake checked" me well little did she know I wasnt there anymore and her lovely brake check, 75 mph to 40 mph hoping I would hit her, caused some guy to swerve around her hitting the guard on the side of the road, his car hit the side of her car and spun it once, hitting another car stopped in traffic, so we all stopped. she got out of her car and pointed to my car 4 cars up in traffic, like I said we stopped. she moseys on up to my passenger side, window down already looking at her straight in the eye. Not a word comes out of her mouth, IT WAS FUCKING HILARIOUS. now I got to say Im sorry the others got into this accident but it wasnt my fault so I dont feel bad. SUV owner got what she deserved, daughter was a little late for soccer practice I presume. :-D -
my AFR will drop suddenly recently when I turn my car on after having it on for a while then turning it off. It begins to sputter and backfire, and HAS NO HORSEPOWER, I can rev the engine and it will go back to normal but I believe the timing is being changed... checked the timing today and its 5-8 degrees before TDC, RIGHT where is should be. what can change the timing on this car, I know its not the ECU I already tried that... knock sensor or dizzy?

get a buddy with a corrado, get a few buddies, knock him out, gloves of course, duct tape him, take his pants and shirt off and throw him in the middle of town... early in the morning. DONT GET CAUGHT! carry him if need be! I did this when my ex's ex b/f put paint stripper on my pearl metallic blue 1969 VW bug, 2.1L dual webber IDF's, I was going to rip his heart out, 7k in a bug and 30 dollar for some fool to buy gas and some paint stripper to go and do that. we tagged his back with a bit of red paint and the words, "Complete douchebag"... his hands were taped around his ankles, he couldnt move, we left him in the park... it was the best thing ever... no police questioning because it was said to be gang related...

über - used before nouns to mean 'extreme'

oh man I love you guys, hahaha yes transvestites would be nice in a corrado, their hands would move like fred flinstone's feet cause they inhale so much cocaine... :-D so no need for that new transmission I guess I'll just go downtown and shove one under the "bonnet" (hood)

wondering if a G60 smells that bad with its cat removed, I just put a new one in and dont want to waste it when it comes to smog test in the next 2 years...
-
rgr that, will get it adjusted at the expensive guys to make sure its done right...
-
yeah I am worrying a lot now that I see it all the time... =-(

thats a lie! HUGE LIE there are quite a few in cali, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONLY!!!! people down there can afford to maintain them... there are more corrado's ON THE EAST COAST than there are on the west coast... =-) clarification was needed. try and buy a corrado in california, good luck with that, try and buy a corrado in new york or jersey, they are a dime a dozen...

well something is up with my car for sure, had it tuned at 530 ohms and starting my car I would press the gas and the car would sputter and backfire for a few seconds till It got used to the gas then it was fine... I changed it back to 490 and drove it for a while, turns over without sputtering now... too lean I guess, gauges look to be reading ok during the day, at night they go ballistic in the lean range tho... =-/ just got to replace that tranny now I guess, also I might have blown the headgasket running lean with no second gear, so I have to high rev 1st and then go to 3rd... kinda sux....
-
you must save them or give PM me with your e-mail address so I can send them to you. those are from 2 days ago when the CO pot read 490 ohms, it now reads 530, I might adjust it back to that, I just got a new Catalytic converter and I didnt want to kill it... if you see the vid it only cycles between 2500 and 4500 rpms roughly then it goes to ok or rich... the first movie still works but its the 4th one that needs to be viewed, PM me with your email address or if someone has a solution to online video sharing then please PM me...
-
now it cycles between lean and ok.... the ohms are set at 530 for the CO pot... =-/
-
I just got a 2nd hander cause my car blew out 2nd gear... =-) gonna have it checked out just to make sure but its an AGC from a passat so that means I will hopefully reach 60 in second gear!
-
rgr that, so the cycling is ok then, neil do you have an SNS chip, I have a neuspeed getting a sns 5.5 soon... =-/ I hope that its ok, must have blown the copper headgasket with 16 lbs of boost... oh well time for a rebuild at 140k anyway...
-
here are my vids, the rattles you hear are the camera, the golve box, and the new catalytic converter that now rubs on the inside wall... just look at the RPMs and the air to fuel ratio gauge, see how wacky the thing is? I know the gauge is fine cause the idle video says its rich then says its not rich when I let go... kinda funky.... stevemac, this happen to you when ure full throttle switch went out? http://home.ripway.com/2005-8/401890/MOV00682.mpg http://home.ripway.com/2005-8/401890/MOV00683.mpg http://home.ripway.com/2005-8/401890/MOV00684.mpg http://home.ripway.com/2005-8/401890/MOV00685.mpg SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG! this is why my car doesnt stop overheating.... =-/ I think... otherwise I blew a copper headgasket... no thats not possible...
-
mine is going loony between lean and ok but at rising rpms...
-
Installed a duostyling AFR gauge into my car last night. I let the car warm up and it idles in the "ok" range... when I step on it it stays in the ok range until about 2500 rpms till about 5000 rpms where the reading will greatly fluctuate between lean and ok, it goes back and forth rapidly. I will post a video when i get the chance... anyone know what causes this?

hahah my bushes were half that -
yeah, Im in california, only an 8 hour drive right... hahaha Im gonna take an 02A from a passat, HOPEFULLY it will have a 0.72 5th gear so I wont sit at 3100 rpms at 70, it will be a comfortable 2650... anyway who knows if a 91 passat 16V will have this or not... jacking the car up tonight, taking my volvo 740 gle with 300k miles on it to work tomorrow, that things a tank. removing the tranny friday night, getting the new on sat morning and replacing it that afternoon, once again, anyway I can check the syncros without taking the thing apart?
