  1. it reads about 345 at 750 rpms, which way do I turn it? also is that gonna make it too lean or 2 rich?
  2. RGR THAT! you guys rock my world! =-D
  3. how do I check if its bad and what should it read (on the CO pot), also will it read anything with the wire unplugged or do I have to go out and get a wiring adapter thing? sorry guys I dont have a gas analyser.
  4. I know I can get a VR6 corrado front crossmember so that I can use a VF engineering front enging mount. Is the gear box mount the same for all corrado's or do I have to jerry rig that one too? and how do I set up the G60 so that I can run a VR6 rear engine mount if its possible at all... thanks Jonathan
  5. Critical_Mass, the squeek you hear that sounds like a rusty gate is your ISV computer controlled blow off valve. when you hear the squeek its time for a replacement however they are expensive, people correct me if I am wrong please. You guys have some interesting names for cities, here's some of california for you. Santa Rosa, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Santa Clarita, San Jose, San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz, Santa Maria, Santa Monica, san anselmo, san bernardino, san bruno, san carlos, san clemente, san fernando, san juan capistrano, san mateo, san rafael, santa ana as you can see we have a lot of saints...
  6. yeah they will work together, the ISV reroutes boost into intake boost return kit removes the crappy black plastic hose and allows for cooler operating temperatures... not sure if the second part is true but thats what everyone says.
  7. use ductape and paint!
  8. uh huh... hence "I will fix that.... here comes another relay box!" 8)
  9. oh yeah, hit your friend for us.... >=-)
  10. hmmm I will fix that.... here comes another relay box! the fan is what controls the speed... it depends on the continuity of the pins on the thermoswitch as each provides constant "9.8" V according to my multimeter.
  11. HAHA fan works.... I pulled over when water temp was about 215F, made sure that the a/c wasnt on and that the defrost wasnt on, left it off on purpose wanted to see how it was doing... well after going up a hill at 45 mph, CRAZY TWISTY HILL BTW, I get out and the fans on!!! I just replaced the after run/on and it was the problem, if your fan doesnt work and you have replaced everything, replace the after run! its a lifesaver! now I can DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!!!! BTW for all of you who think this isnt the problem and that its in the wiring, your wrong it actually grounds out the wire for the fan when the block and surrounding areas get to 194 F. the thermoswitch then acts as a balance from there on out to control the CFM, ALSO IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I AM NOT GETTING A FULL 12V TO THE FAN? cause it doesnt seem like its spinning as fast as I think it should be....
  12. yeah I failed my Smog for california.... 2 much NOx particles... could it be the 65mm pulley? =-/
  13. I replaced the fan after run on switch, it makes the fan go on for a few seconds and then it turns off... then it does it again and again till the engine is cool enough so that the switch isnt active. is the off/on normal for this? I think the fan still doesnt turn on when its supposed to.... gonna test thermoswitch one of these days except that its new...
  14. ok so I have heard of a fiberglass hatch being cutom made for corrados. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one so I can lose some pounds and some very minor rust. thanks Jonathan
  15. yes.... we know that as well, we are just wondering what exactly this piece does, why I am talking about myself as "we" I dont know maybe a little golem in me... WHAT DOES THIS PIECE DO? and how does it affect my engine, are you guys telling me that it will allow my car to boost up to 15 psi... or does it just adjust fuel mixture during non wide open throttle? this would cause my idle to stabilize....? I believe we are all confused at this point..... 65mm with only 11 psi... kinda pissing me off, maybe a rebuild?
  16. I know the idle valve, will this fix my erratic idle because of the fact that I have everything else for this kit besides this piece? or will this just allow my boost to go higher? right now I am bleeding off at 11 for some reason.... I think thats the stock safety point...
  17. anyone know what it does? it comes with this kit... http://www.neuspeed.com/products/produc ... o&p_id=156 its the only thing I dont have from this kit....
  18. its quite understandable why you would not drive it around all the time, I wouldnt. I guess its time to get another 16V isnt it! :-)
  19. yes, the pics do look satin, kinda gives it a glowing effect, all I know is my car is gonna be tornado red with a pearl satin finish on it. kinda gives a nice sheen to it.
  20. haha wow I just got my PVW here in the states, your car is amazing, I mean the paint just has this satin finish to it that is unreal. I am 2 years into my project, also in college so I got to have money for both, hope one day that it will turn out as nice as yours! Jonathan
  21. Just got the new PVW here in the states... took it a while to get here. who is the owner of that gorgeous VR6 corrado in there? just looking to see if I can get some more pics of the car is all. =-). Gorgeous ride I must say!
  22. hehe mine is black, but I have a new lambda sensor... can I adjust this? I think we said that it was messing with the CO pot that fixes the mixture. I have a stock chip too so I dont know why I would be getting bad milage and mixture.... =-( my ISV sticks too, got some carb cleaner for that got to do it this weekend... *tear* I need to fix this so that I can pass smog...
