ok being that no one looks at the other sections for posting very often, IE steering.... I thought I would pose the question here. I have a 90 G60 US SPEC and am wondering if a 93 canadian spec VR6 corrado steering rack will work in my car. easy quesiton. thanks guys

take a spark plug out and place it connected on the engine block, if you can have someone start the car you can see if it sparks. also see if your injectors are putting out fuel by removing a different spark plug to see if it is wet after trying to start. my car did this, had spark and fuel, fuel was at full spray, ECU fried.
-
oh sorry I thought u were answering his question being that he was aware that the RSR outlets belonged to G60s
-
rad, our cars suck more.
-
93 g60, good car, when they went digital on G60's. post something like, it cranks but it doesnt fire, does it even crank? more infomation would be nice.
-
dude he is talking about an exhaust manifold that has 6 outlet ports for a VR, not RSR.
-
yeah i used a dremel..... takes off everything, then you could use a cleaner
-
diagnostic connecter I believe, my mechanic used it for testing voltage on something
-
hehe mine did that it was my FPR.... but I have a G60
-
..... get someone to set it up correctly... otherwise it is not correct, um yeah...
-
..... I have a custom G60 ECU that fried one side once, a custom memory piece was put into the ECU so I have the ability to reset it.... I suggest doing this because it will just take the information from the first 10 miles of driving. very effective when u want to go drag racing.

garage is replacing the FPR, dunno what will happen then.

buy one from BBM 130 US I think. does G-man sell them too?
-
get header, take throttle body, flow it and get a chopped intake manifold then see what your car does. EIPtuning.com

RSR outlet makes boost build quicker yes, slightly more G60 sound around town, more effect when real driving. reduces risk of boost leak. basically more reliable.
-
the limp mode allowed it to get home one day, then just shut down, the guys at tillmans german auto say that the fuel pressure spikes before it shuts down and have a FPR on order I think I am gonna have them replace it with a porsche 944 one so that I get the fuel enrichment, yes ECU must be reset in order for it to work properly

I only have a black just a single black nothing else.
-
yeah, what do you mean get another lead, I dont have one. just the black one , do I ground it out to the battery or something?
-
well lets just hope... thanks steve wherever you are, just took me some time I guess

I have a 90 corrado and I only have the black port on my car. dont have the ABS connection, can I still use the VAG -COM on my car even though I only have the small 2x2 black port?
-
ok apparently there is something that digifant ECU's have called limp mode: http://www.polo-gt.co.uk/mechanical/VWD ... tment.html I dont know if this is true for corrado's as well, but if it is then my ECU definitely is in it.

I so wish I had a place to go 147 mph around where I live, I just have lost of hills and turny roads. I have been 125 in my friends mazda millenia s. that was great.
-
