Red=fast, you should be running like 200 with that setup are you sure the test wasnt at the wheels? if it was at the wheels it would make more sense, BTW the BBM lysolm wont help you gain hp unless you fix the problem it does run stock at 12 psi and can go up to 25 which will give you about 300 bhp. you need to fix the existing problem before it will make a difference. check your distributor just for kicks. then check your ignitor seals, also you might want to get bigger injectors before you do anything else, check FPR. just a few things. change the bearings in your alternator? remove the AC with BBM's kit? 65mm pulley? so many more things you can do

being that we all know that the bentley is very sketch on replacing the g60 water pump I was wondering if anyone had a good description of how to replace the water pump in my G60. just kinda wondering because its this weekends project. thanks.

noise keeps happening, sounds like if you lost a fin on your water pump and it kept getting thrown around, also the engine has little or no power and it makes a wurrrrrrrr sound, kinda like a jet engine does, no its not the G-charger becasue this sound is new. the charger is boosting ok so I dont think that it has a problem, just think water pump because of heat of engine and clumking. pulleys look likey they are wobbling too. anyone?

anyone know of any aftermarket racks that are 2.5 lock to lock or 3 lock to lock? if I have to replace the rack I may as well get a snazzy one. =-)

well I think there is supposed to be something there, I just cut the hose because it was gone anyway and there is some sort of plastic at the connection spot between the rad hose and the small tube, dunno if its supposed to be there or not but I think it is. it was broken up into small pieces though so I know it was definitely not working. anyone know how much that is part number is 535121101A I believe. checking stealer tomorrow or today for you people cause its 4:00 there?

which hose is that? the metal one? well there is one in the top radiator hose too, the one that connects the exp tank to the top rad hose. feel the base near the radiator end, the little hose is hard there and mine gets stuck so I flick it and it starts releasing pressure.

the seals on the hoses that connect to the rack? or te seals on the rack itself?

anyone know how to clean the valve in that stupid little hose, mine keeps getting stuck, about to buy a new hose because I keep getting an air pocket from that thing. anyone know how much and where? if its samco whats the part number? thanks.

also maybe you guys can help me fix the problem. I have a leak on the drivers side of the rack, it really leaks when I have the wheel turned all the way to the left. kinda drops a ton of fluid. still steers fine just leaks.

Got a 90 corrado and am having leakage problems with the power steering, probably blown seals and I have a lot of them its just I am wondering how much and what other cars have the same power steering rack as a corrado if any, also is there somewhere where I can order one with a tighet steering ratio, corrados are 16:1 stock looking for about 14:1. Thanks

I had a paper type headgasket previous to the copper one I have now, there are metal rings that surround the cylinders though so as long as its tight on there it should be fine, the only reason I went with copper is because its a solid head transfer across the whole block. When you are taking your head off you should have it milled at least to rid it of any low points. it will take some time to get it milled as the cam and items have to come off. any local mill shop should be able to to it. mine took me a week, I fixed the guys computer as payment, cant beat that!

blue temp sensor, or your distributor, my car does it as well I need a distributor, the hall sender inside of mine is fried, it cant tell where camshaft is and acts like crack addict. I replace the blue sender and it didnt effect anything, being that its only like 7 dollars. so I suggest buying a distributor cause that is what I am stealing off of a GTI or passat this weekend.

bad idea on G60's the idle stabilizer controls boost as well unplugging makes car overboost, and blow things, i.e. headgasket.

could be transmission related, when was the last time that you changed your fluid? when the clutch is released it is spinning the tranny so my bet is one of your tranny bearings are dead or just unlubed.

being that we all have modded G60's I dont think we should be talking about the stock times being that ours are all much quicker, with the exception of mine because my distributor is smoked. I believe we can all say that with the basic mods such as pulley, chip, FPR, tubes, cam, what have you, we all probably have sub 7 second 0-60 times, I know mine was something like 6.2 at the track when th car was running right. we all have different time according to mods, more mods, faster 0-60 in most cases.
