Speechless !!

Looks the nuts. I wish I could get my act together.
-
Well done jp. It’s a lot easier the second time, determination is what you need and showed 👍

One of the best 1st posts I’ve read. I think you’ll be on the road before me👍
-
More like it 👍

Got both doors and roof all put back together and started on the front end. Then got busy at work and had a few weeks off the car, I think I’m dreading the glass installation shenanigans and have come to a stop while my enthusiasm builds again. Weather isn’t helping to get me going either, not like it’s driving weather or that you are allowed to far or anywhere anyway.

There is a dead lock lever that the outer door handle operates. If you have removed the outer door handle you should be able to operate up and down

I can only see this being delivered the same as the one you are sending back. I say this because it ends L, and has no mention of it being the same as J. The one you are sending back was cross referenced to match L too. Have they sent you a photo with 4 pins?

Beauty and value are in the eye of the beholder. Obviously the buyer loved them soooooo much he sold a kidney to buy them.

This gives a good heads up. https://dannysengineportal.com/compression-test-how-to-do-it-what-can-it-tell-you/ good luck mate

That’s going to be one impressive bay. Did you make the brake lines yourself, they look like stainless or similar. Mine hasn’t got that portion of heat shield. Can’t see that it ever had it. Mines a 92.

He’s the type of guy who deserves a worm or Trojan sending to him and his devices.

Need some fluid for the washer jets though

It’s an emotional moment. Well done

If you look in the photo I posted, I think I was testing for speed one with a lamp to make sure that end was ok, it may have been speed 2 by t I don’t think so. Anyway red/ white 1 red/ black 2 red/green 3 brown - earth 24- 18 months ago I became a blumin expert on how this stuff should work, I didn’t want it that way 😖
-
Brown is earth the other thick wire red/green is speed 3
-
Looking at what I was testing, I think you are missing 2nd speed
-
Better price than I thought for postage to Canada from him. Still expensive though like you say. But the item itself I thought was cheap if it works. I managed with stuff I had in the garage too. That’s the beauty of a full garage, there is always something, just where is it 😖 🤣🤣🤣

I’m glad you have posted mate. It’s been a part a few have asked about but never posted about a solution or bad buys, so either way this will help loads now and future.
-
This is why I never went and bought one. I can’t see how it will give you three speeds without a different control unit, the power pin to 1st or 2nd speed is missing. You definitely need to test it as nothing may happen when one of them two come on.

There should be FOUR terminals on the back of that fan. Take a bloody photo.
-
A picture of the back of the fan where your car plugs in
-
You don’t get the engine hot. You need a wire to bridge the contacts in the plug. Instead of the test light you will have the fan plugged in, you’ve probably got the later fan plug but the idea is the same. Bridge the speeds one at a time.
