Top work Matt! I heard you carried the other two...................
-
Yeah I'd definitely get one. I don't think many log your speed though so I'd get one of those. Don't get me wrong, I don't drive like a complete dikc, and if I did and the police seized it in the event of an accident, I'd accept I'd be bang to rights. I just refuse to allow these bottom feeders of insurance companies to do everything in their power to see you off, as well as to dictate their own premiums however it suits them.

Jezza suspended for "a fracas" with a producer. Was this the final, final, final straw?????
-
Difficult to say whether I would or not. I've certainly been considering getting one, but as far as insurance goes, it would probably be GPS tracked and speeds logged, so if you were travelling just a couple of mph over the limit (which I never do, honestly guv!) then you can guarantee you'd get bummed even if you weren't to blame, and they would refuse to pay out, and leave you to answer for voiding your insurance and be prosecuted for it!

Yes, and yes mate. :thumbleft:

Payment sent Andy, thanks mate! :thumbleft: -
Just phone the parts department at VW with the part numbers Wayne. They'll order them in for you and usually have them within 2 days. I've just ordered a set of spring top plates this morning ready to fit my Bilsteins, and they will be in tomorrow!

Not at all Martin. Bear in mind, they'll need to arrive by 10th (ish) of April though or I won't be here! You're welcome to pick them up from my house though, I'll let the missus know if don't mind that mate. -

Wow, this is really mounting up mate! Re: the spark plugs, that company is probably out of stock, so rather than end the listing and have to pay for another, it's pretty common for companies to massively inflate the price so no buys them, then amend it down again when they have them in stock again.

Search for user oilman. I think the standard discount code is in his signature. Alternatively just give them a call, they're very helpful so will apply the discount over the phone anyway mate.

Looks great Max, top work! :thumbleft:

The pas fluid from avs is febi stuff, but it's the correct specification Wayne, it's what I used in mine and the aqua I have. You can order online from Opie, just put the discount code in at checkout.

Think you may have got your wires crossed Wayne. In 1992, 6 Campaign models were given for sale to the top 6 selling dealerships. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=51584

The benefit of getting from ECP/GSF is that its local and the brake parts you need are likely to be in stock. If they're not the right ones, you can return them for a full refund and get the ones you need. Your best bet is to look what you have on the car at the moment. I went for the larger pad thickness when I last bought a set, and had no issues.

No need to top up/bleed brakes if just replacing disks and pads either Wayne.

Quite a bit Wayne yes! Circa 400 bhp with a turbo. Superchargers are usually in the region of 270 bhp. -

1. Hairyarse - Late style 2. Louis - late style 3. Seanl82 - late style Thanks for taking this on Andy! :thumbleft: -
Yip, happy with that, thanks for taking this on! :thumbleft:

True, although myhermes are very good and rates are cheap. Sprinter53, will they be individually boxed?
-
Thanks for the tip! I've got new top mounts front & back, and I've actually got new track rod ends that I was going to wait to fit, but I'll stick them on at the same time if I can. Cheers John!
-
Makes sense. I just assumed there would be a larger number now fitted, with the opportunists taking a few liberties with not having to display a disk.
-
I'll be giving you a call in the next week or so to book mine in I think John. About to fit my Bilstein B12s so I'll need you to work your magic afterwards! :thumbleft:

Excellent news! I'd suggest starting a thread over in the group buy section, so that everyone interested can put their name in a list, with whether they want early or late type too. Can then see what deal the seller would be willing to do with how many are interested, and be able to get a final price with delivery from a single address to everyone else (If you're willing to do that anyway). I'm certainly interested. Edit, just realised you ARE the seller! :bonk: Is anyone willing to take this on? I would do, but I'm off abroad in 4 weeks time for the rest of the year, but I'd still like one to be delivered to my home address in my absence.

Lucky escape there mate! My sister in law was pulled over a couple of years back, and her MOT had expired about 8 months before! The police officer looked at her, must have thought 'dumb blonde' and just told her to get it booked in today! Not sure you as a bloke would have been so lucky! Out of interest, what with new tax rules etc, does anyone know roughly what percentage of police cars actually carry the anpr computer/camera?
