  1. Wow, this is really mounting up mate! Re: the spark plugs, that company is probably out of stock, so rather than end the listing and have to pay for another, it's pretty common for companies to massively inflate the price so no buys them, then amend it down again when they have them in stock again.
  2. Search for user oilman. I think the standard discount code is in his signature. Alternatively just give them a call, they're very helpful so will apply the discount over the phone anyway mate.
  3. Looks great Max, top work! :thumbleft:
  4. The pas fluid from avs is febi stuff, but it's the correct specification Wayne, it's what I used in mine and the aqua I have. You can order online from Opie, just put the discount code in at checkout.
  5. Think you may have got your wires crossed Wayne. In 1992, 6 Campaign models were given for sale to the top 6 selling dealerships. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=51584
  6. The benefit of getting from ECP/GSF is that its local and the brake parts you need are likely to be in stock. If they're not the right ones, you can return them for a full refund and get the ones you need. Your best bet is to look what you have on the car at the moment. I went for the larger pad thickness when I last bought a set, and had no issues.
  7. No need to top up/bleed brakes if just replacing disks and pads either Wayne.
  8. Quite a bit Wayne yes! Circa 400 bhp with a turbo. Superchargers are usually in the region of 270 bhp.
  9. 1. Hairyarse - Late style 2. Louis - late style 3. Seanl82 - late style Thanks for taking this on Andy! :thumbleft:
  10. Yip, happy with that, thanks for taking this on! :thumbleft:
  11. True, although myhermes are very good and rates are cheap. Sprinter53, will they be individually boxed?
  12. Thanks for the tip! I've got new top mounts front & back, and I've actually got new track rod ends that I was going to wait to fit, but I'll stick them on at the same time if I can. Cheers John!
  13. Makes sense. I just assumed there would be a larger number now fitted, with the opportunists taking a few liberties with not having to display a disk.
  14. I'll be giving you a call in the next week or so to book mine in I think John. About to fit my Bilstein B12s so I'll need you to work your magic afterwards! :thumbleft:
  15. Excellent news! I'd suggest starting a thread over in the group buy section, so that everyone interested can put their name in a list, with whether they want early or late type too. Can then see what deal the seller would be willing to do with how many are interested, and be able to get a final price with delivery from a single address to everyone else (If you're willing to do that anyway). I'm certainly interested. Edit, just realised you ARE the seller! :bonk: Is anyone willing to take this on? I would do, but I'm off abroad in 4 weeks time for the rest of the year, but I'd still like one to be delivered to my home address in my absence.
  16. Lucky escape there mate! My sister in law was pulled over a couple of years back, and her MOT had expired about 8 months before! The police officer looked at her, must have thought 'dumb blonde' and just told her to get it booked in today! Not sure you as a bloke would have been so lucky! Out of interest, what with new tax rules etc, does anyone know roughly what percentage of police cars actually carry the anpr computer/camera?
  17. I don't want to get into another argument, nor bring down another person's thread, but the car needed geometry doing again, and the new genuine expansion tank was faulty at purchase. (I know as I have the exact same issue with mine). Those are hardly grounds for all this petty squabbling and finger pointing, and the fact that coupled with a strong (justified imo) purchase price, you then went out and spent a grand on a set of wheels that were never even fitted! Your spending habits when under the influence and that your missus probably gave you an ear full for spending your savings, shouldn't lead to this. It's bang out of order, and just makes you look petty and childish. End of.
  18. I'd hang fire with any more unecessary purchases Wayne. If your not sure how long you'll keep the car, it just seems like wasted effort. If after the summer you get the bug, then you have the calipers ready to go. The brake upgrade won't add any real world difference to sale price, so I'd suggest you at least wait til it's back on the road and you've got to know the car a little more.
  19. Have a look in this thread mate. It's probably covered in here, and it'll help you familiarise yourself and understand what's what in the conversion. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=36117
  20. Ah right got you. You won't need much mate. Just get a litre to be on the safe side.
  21. No mate. If they're renewing the fluid, theres no real difference in the amount needed as they'll have to pump all the old stuff through anyway.
  22. In the rib then! Sounds/looks like a good place to be. :thumbleft:
