1. Can't, help with those bit's I'm afraid and all exterior door handles have gone. The 16V was non Met Black, most panels have gone, still got the wings, a bit rough but usable. Also have the sunroof panel.
2. I'm fitting Three Aux gauges of the type fitted to Audi coupe ect to my G60, in the bottom of the centre console. All my car's have had or have them them fitted over the years. Either as standard being an Audi, or custom fitted in the case of my VW's. I've fitted all my Golf GTi MkII's (X3) as well as both my previous Corrado's with a set. In my 'new' Corrado I'm fitting Audi VDO Oil pressure and voltage gauges but felt a boost gauge to be of more use than an Oil Temp gauge as the car already has a digital one as part of the MFA. I was stuck for a Boost gauge to match and I feel a boost gauge to be a far better choice than an oil Temp gauge in a G60. I'm a fussy sod so everything has to look as close to OE as possible. I found this on eBay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370600697592?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 It's a near perfect match with the VDO's and has a scale that's spot on for a G60. Quality is very good, better than expected.
3. As per title I have recently broken a complete 1990 16V. Got a lot of stuff left to go, don't want silly money for parts and can do cheap postage via Interparcel etc. Also I have a lot of Black interior trim parts and switch gear from a 1996 VR6 I broke Ten years ago, all in mint condition having been stored in the dark for the last decade. I'll be posting up a list of the major items with prices and pic's soon. In the mean time drop me a PM or just ask if there's anything your after.
4. I purchased this Corrado for some neighbour's as an official Dutch car on Dutch plates. It's on 108 thousand KM's, FSH and only two owners fro new. A very early completely original G60 that's never been messed with. Passed it's UK MOT first time. Advise on rear tyres and rear brake pads. Do they not salt the roads in Holland? Test day was the first chance I'd gotten to have a proper look underneath. It's like new, all the brake flexis look original and are fine, quite astonishing considering she's over 20 years old, the tester commented that it looked in better shape than most UK cars presented for their first MOT at Four years old. Going to have to temporarily fit side repeaters for the next test, he didn't notice till he'd passed it, think he was so surprised by the rest of the car that it passed his attention. I set the headlights up on my garage wall, he joking said "that's one bloody accurate garage wall you've got" both of the replacement RHD unit's I'd fitted were set up spot. With a bit of work the body will come up perectly, I've only got about 4/5 dents to sort and just the one bad one on the rear panel. Also got an excellent new paint man, young lad in his early 20's. He's enthusiastic about working on nice old cars and he lays the paint on a treat. Going to be painting/touching up my T4, Corrado, Golf and S2, in that order over the next year or so. He's mobile as we Oh, the leather hand brake handle is very hard to find. __________________ Nothelle/RS2 3B mongrel.
5. Sorry fo slow response, been busy with work and had to dig it out of my loft. As can be seen in pic's it has some damage, however once fitted it you can't see the damage. 6. Yes, I can probably help as I have a damaged headlight that I've kept for spare parts, sold the covers off the back of it last night to a member as it happens. Will have to dig it out again and check that parts OK, I'm sure it will be as it was a very tidy lamp till the back mounting point got snapped during removal. I'll then have to carefully remove the part you need, will have time over the weekend to do it. It's not a job I want to rush as mentioned above they go brittle and snap easily.
7. And here's my home brewed real leather gear knob and gaiter, both Audi S2 items, they fit perfectly with a few tweaks. Will do a write up with pic's on how I did it over the weekend. Will have an OE leather steering wheel for her next week. Just need a leather hand brake handle to complete the interior to how I want it. It's funny the Dutch doctor who ordered the car new specced it with a plastic gear knob and gaiter as well as steering wheel and handbrake handle and no sunroof. guess he wanted the performance for as little as possible outlay. Glad he went for the black cloth!!!! No sunroof is a big plus for me as I'm a good Six foot and used to bang/rub my head often in my old Corrado back ten years ago. No longer a problem. Also a lot of weight removed from where it's least wanted and one thing less to go wrong. Will keep the bit's I replace with leather so I can put her back to 100% original spec if required. 8. And some more of the interior as well as an attempt at some arty shots.
9. Here some shots of my G60. Text to follow.
10. Big thanks to 'tut_gareth' for sorting me a set of G60 clocks, turned up super fast and exactly as described. Very happy. Also thanks to 'josh.c' for polity sorting out a deal with me yesterday on a lot of front end parts then paying very quickly. You will have the bit's on Friday 100% as arranged. Finally thanks to 'dragon green' who purchased a set of 1992 2.0 16V clocks from me, deal was done within a couple of hours. Those were posted yesterday by standard parcels so you will have them by the end of the week at the latest mate.
11. This is what I've gone for on my early (1990) G60, not faithful to what should be there but easily reversible and I like to add a few personal touch to my cars. The Black Corrado and rear VW badges are genuine. The Corrado badge started out as a tatty late spec chrome item which I rubbed down to re-Silver (have some perfect paint for that), however after rubbing it down with 1200 grit wet and dry I thought hang on a min this should look good as it is, especially on a red car. So I just loosely fitted it to check and decided I like it. The finish is very nice, kinda matt but with some cleaning products looks slightly shiny. The VW badges I rubbed down, prepped with plastic primer and gave them a few coats of Satin Black to build up a nice rounded finish to the edge's. The little supercharged badge came from eBay, was considering using a Silver one instead but thought it might look a bit ostentatious with the re-Silvered Corrado badge and I purchased it before I'd even thought of doing the Corrado one in Black. So I'm going to buy a Silver one and give it a try as I have a suspicion it will look even better.
12. No problem, will post some later.
13. Sounds like a deal to me. Just out of interest what's wrong with them? Drop me a PM and I'll sort out payment for them.
14. As per title I'm after a cheap set of early type clocks to repair another set. All that needs to work properly is the MFA and the Temp/Fuel gauges, would be nice if the Speedo and Rev counter work as well but not essential, in fact the rev counter can be missing, they must have a 160 MPH speedo face in good condition though. Condition of the housing pod and circuit unimportant. Missed a perfect set on eBay a couple of weeks ago:bonk:, went for 2 quid. Obviously I'm prepared to pay a little more than that. What have you got people?
15. That looks very nice, digging the Black Sebering wheels. Anyway, welcome along from a fellow G60 owner, not been here long myself, you should like it here it's a great forum.
16. Yes they do vary between the early and late models, can't remember the difference but there is one. I have a spare early one knocking about.
17. I'd purchase one directly from a Bosch dealer if at all possible, you 'should' get the best price. However if it's the same as the S2/S4/ 10VT Five pot turbo unit, which I suspect it is then you could try Pete at quattro corner on 0121 476 0034, if you have a part No to quote him he'll be able to say straight away if he can help.
18. This is the set up from an S2 which would probably be easier to source, the Audi 100/200 turbo unit is much the same but a little larger.:thumbleft:
19. The pump from an Audi S2 should be the same, might have one knocking about I could take a look at.
20. Nice wheel! And rare. I have a very similar one my S2, lovely to use, small but not to much so. With a very high quality feel. Price on that is a bit steep IMO. Here's my S2 one which set me back a ton.
21. Maybe something off and an old Audi 100/200 turbo would suit what your after, their a good compact unit. where are you planning on mounting it.
22. K Simmonds

Starter motor

Also have one in good nick knocking about.
23. Welcome along, good choice on the G60, My personal favourite model, I love them and run one myself, though all models float my boat in one way or another.:thumbleft: I've got a good complete spare gear linkage from a 16V I broke recently, which parts do you need? Also have a complete wiper linkage and motor in good nick from the same car. I can post for very good rates with Interparcel or you welcome to collect, I'm in mid Wales. Drop me a PM if your want to have chat about the parts you require.
