    cloth recaros

Cloth recaros do have their place in the market though, theres people like me who use their corrados daily and would love leather recaros but they would be annoying in the summer without A/C. If you have a/c or your corrados not a daily then its leather recaros all the way.
  4. dec i agree, i think when the time comes i will most probably end up breaking mine rather tha sell it complete
  5. I have the same interior in mine, they may have been worth a grand some time in the past but thre was a set on here a few weeks ago up for sale for about £600.
  6. interesting that my younger brother also has a polo 6n as his first car
  7. Thanks, unsure of the exact drop as its on coils. Hassan appreciate the comments considering my corrado has covered nearly 4 times as many miles as yours  I still have a few more things planned.... I agree they are a really nice wheel for the corrado, i just need to get rid of the last bit of play in my steering to make the most of them, The heights coming down a bit at the front and when ive finished messing about with the front suspension and steering components i have to get it aligned up. Thats one of the main reasons i stuck with 17's as you can get rid of the arch gap but still retain some sort of ground clearance 8) The rc's arent bad at all  im after after another set of wheels for when the weather gets better, just need to find a set for sale...
  8. ...due to the background I assume 8) no i meant mines is looking very similar at the moment, its a m plate blackberry vr on rc's... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=56993&start=60 anyway best of luck with the car
  9. thanks i just had a search, i assume you are reffering to theCamshaft position (hall) sensor,i think i'll scan my car on vag com and see what it says
  10. i have similar issues with my vr, fuel consumption has gradually decreased in the 18 months ive had my car. Whats the G40 sensor?
  11. cool, just noticed your changing your steering rack, where are you sourcing it from? I recently did a suspension overhaual but i didnt do the rack and now its playing on my mind that i should
  12. Looking good, when spraying the bonnet and bumper do you not need to blend in to the wings or is the colour match good? I've heard silvers a difficult colour to match up.
  13. car looks phat, havent seen it around for ages!
  14. i had to double take when i saw the pic with it wearing the rc's....
  15. Hassans a top bloke nice to meet you and the family. I'll pop down again after i get back in the new year. Walsey, whoops, i can confirm there was no oil on Hassans drive when i left
  16. Hassan bad news, seems like its not a good week for corrados! I think you will only be able to make a decision on which way to go once you have the engine stripped down, you may be able to keep your head and block and salvage a few bits like the intemediary from another engine.
  17. pretty confident its your wheel bearings, not to difficult to change just have to take the discs off drift the old ones out and drift the new ones in. general opinion on the forum is to use genuine vag bearings, gsf ones are made from cheese...
  18. if you want to customise your dash then trim it!
  19. if i had a darker car i'd do you a straight swap for my late cloth recaro interior
  20. Goldie next years plans sound promising.... RS301's against classic green paintwork will be a classy combination!
  21. thanks guys, wheels were sourced from a local guy, then my bro youngdub did a quick refurb on them. I swapped the tyres to dunlop sp9000's at the weekend and now the profile of the tyres is smaller i might have to lower it a touch 8)
  22. i just had a look in my engine bay and see what you mean about space, try access from underneath after jacking the car?
  23. cheers bally im loving the ride and handling on the rc's Saw your motor at prept but i was only there for 5 mins in an avensis as i had to collect some wheels...
  24. seriously guys, the bbs are practical.... as they aren't polished theyre easy to maintain 8) The calipers were painted copper in the home of getting an oem look... still not sure about them. Just realised still dont have pictures of my interior up
