  1. If you ever decide to recondition your front indicators (requiring a quick stint in the oven to soften the glue)..... Switch off your phone first (or any other distractions for that matter).....
  2. Was it a LHD or RHD car, if RHD then i think your driver side/passenger side photos may be the wrong way round, either way i am after a RHD drivers side headlight glass in very good condition i.e.. no cracks or chips so if you have one it may fit in well with Talltorrac's request above. Edd
  3. Bargain, total bargain.
  4. any cracks or chips to the drivers side headlight glass??
  5. Im after these bits from top of door cards undamaged if you have them? See link below http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?79732-plastic-window-runners-from-top-of-door-cards-now-with-photo Edd

Edd
  7. VW told me on Sat they were now discontinued, that was after checking them on ETKA in the vw parts office, i'm now confused...
  8. As per title Anywhere i can source original or original looking front bumper indicators, i not sure on the In Pro ones. It does look like FK do some type of aftermarket ones that i found on ebay.de Mine are cracked and i don't like that.... Edd
  9. Apologies i havent read this whole thread Zak and the answer may well be lurking there. Are these plug and play type, i had one before from someone where i had to cut it in myself and was not really comfortable going down that route as i am trying to keep car as standard as i can allow myself. Also had a few issues with the relays appearing to get too when sat in motorway traffic etc as the main beam would suddenly come on and blind eveyone in front haha. Is this something you have ever experienced? Edd
  10. ive found 2 well respected people to fit, but no screen as yet.... may see if insurance will foot up cost of new screen only.
  11. Well the new (week old to me) VR is driving beautifully; it is however not very good at avoiding bouncing rocks. Now have a crack halfway across my windscreen. sad face Question is i am very hesitant to let anyone fix this screen being well aware of the difficulties and inherent problems with removal/fitting of the Corrado's windscreen, the mob handed nature of some window fitters and the fact that the windscreens seals are now discontinued from VW. I popped to my body shop today to get a quote for some paint work up and he informed me they have a very good guy who does their windscreen removals and refitting for their windows out resprays. I think i may get him to take out and put a new one in whilst the car is at the body shop; that way if there is any rust under the screen it can be repaired/treated before the new one goes in (plus i know the due care will be taken with the new one..) I am prepared to avoid the insurance route on the basis that i can't be arsed to explain to them why i am doing it this way and why i need it done right and locally So here is the question.. Where do i buy a wholesale new screen, everywhere i look it is supply and fit not just supply. Through the forums experiance is any glass manufacturer recommended over another?! I also currently have a green top tint that i would like to have on the replacement. Edd
  12. This was always my take having had corrados for 10 years (like yourself), having said that I just bought a new one and can't help being a bit stoked that it has those little badges i secretly always wanted. The thing is as time goes on by definition of it having "that badge" it may just have had that owner we wish we were always buying from, the one who understands it is now a classic and needs proper care, attention, time and money. There is still going to be a lot of corrados driven into the ground over the coming years because the purchase price is low but the ba5tards do go wrong and cost to put right. There is so many more being broken nowadays compared to when i first got into them in 2003, proving their decline!!
  13. ill take them both ta ---------- Post added at 8:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:44 PM ---------- If you PM me payment details i'll sort, may come pick them up next week as i think i am down that way with work. Edd

  15. As kind of explained above I need the plastic window runners for each side (mine have cracked), these are the plastic bits that the top of the door card fits under/into and seals up against the window when it is closed. Ideally need postage to Malvern worcs, and they need to be unmarked. Edd
  16. can i have one of these please Dave, if you send me your Paypal details I will send the necessary in advance Regards Edd
  17. EDIT, First chance i have had to give her a clean or anything, done a hundred or so miles now and no issues found, about the smoothest vr i've driven actually, must be that tractor height suspension. No reals plans, new indicators on the way, trying to decided what to do with suspension its either on to trusy H&R and KONI or some KW V3's it think. Bodyshop have quoted me to do a full mop (though not sure if needed after the results today) and sort out a few hints or rust that are better to nip in the bud now, also after a new windscreen after the fecker got broken on the 2nd drive of ownership... Anyway heres the pics... Well having spent 3 months without a Corrado, fate would have its way and presented me with what I was looking for right on my doorstep.... Picked this up yesterday, '95 Green Storm, ONE owner from new he bought it from Listers in Worcester for the pricely sum of £21000; a bloody nice owner too, lovely guy who was pleased to be selling it to someone he knew was going to appreciated her. 124,000 miles, full service history, no engine work but chains are remarkably quiet and definitely no smoke on overrun and the like; very smooth drive home. It was only used for 6 months of the year and that was to go from Worcs to Brighton and back for work so has mainly done motorway miles. Few bits of tidying to do but i got it for a very nice price and will be keeping some money aside for future engine work (i've had those engine rebuild invoices from Stealth before so i know what to expect haha). I will only be doing a few 1000 miles a year though in it so the need for rebuild could be a longtime yet. Only real plans are a bit of paintworks there is small amount of rust on o/s wing and a i will get a proffesional cut on the paint undertaken to try and remove a few polishhing swirls/spider webbing in the light.......and prob a set of KW V3's :). I fancy a change away from the Koni TA's and H&R setups. So nice to look under a car and see zero jacking damage though, it says a lot. Edd
  18. I know it is not black but it is very nice dark blue, black always surfers so bad from swirls anyway.... http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/corrado/volkswagen-corrado-vr6-1995-low-miles/994453 Then read the bottom post on my thread and click the link http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?78734-sent-private-messages gives an idea of the price the seller may accept!!!
  19. Absolutely. Unfortunately The risk of Corrados is they are so good to drive they get driven, mind you I had one VR that had engine issues around the 100k mark and I can be pretty sure it wasn't abused by its past history.... it's the alloys on this that throw up the alarm bells though. A few weeks back there were 2 black Vr's up for sale (think it was pistonheads) that were around the 80k miles mark, I'll let you know if I see any as I'm not after black!!
  20. Thanks Krishen you are quite correct, there is a lesson there, it's called "reading the small print" haha, can't remember ticking it on the few recent messages that have saved though....
  21. I do remember the old outbox actually, will wait and see if the mods can help. No wasn't to you Danny, i'm not after a blue one unfortunately....would be interesting to hear what you sold if for though haha!
  22. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/vw-corrado-vr6/1005790336 might be worth a call, lowish miles, engine work etc. potentially Just needs 15" wheels and some new suspension Edd
