just got Kele - THe Boxer . basically the lead singer from Bloc Party doing a solo album! its really cool nothing like bloc party, its got a good bassline to it and is music that you cant help but bob too!

Sorting out vinyl records the other day - many for redistribution among our two lads - found my pristine A-Ha 12" single "Take on Me".

Keeping that. Always liked it.

Probably only Norwegian pop/rock act in my collection, apart from Abba and Robyn.

Been listening to the new Hybrid album (Disappear Here) since it came out.. been following them as a group for about 10 years and they just go from strength to strength. This is the opening track (Empire) from the new album.

 

Give it a chance to build up.. it starts with beats but builds into some awesome orchestral movie score type heavyness :)

As there's been a few spacey type posts, I've been caning this tune recently, imo the definitive goa psytrance tune. Its such a shame that Si Posford doesn't write under the Hallucinogen name anymore but he's still banging out awesome stuff with Shpongle.

 

The song is Shamanix from the album Twisted and right from the off it builds, evolves and then blows you away at the end. Utter genius.

I have heard of them before, got a great upbeat remix of Will Smith's Summertime that they did, but oddly enough never checked out their stuff. I liked it so much I even uploaded it to YouTube lol

They have remixed all kinds of stuff... they were more well known for remixing rather than original work for a while. I really enjoy a lot of their remixes, but their original work just does it for me more. I've been listening to them now for 11 years and I could honestly listen to their music all day every day and not get bored of it.
