  1. I thought all 94 cars had factory immobilisers - unless you bypassed or removed it yourself?
  2. What for ? not driving offences surely
  3. quality album there.....................never grow tired of listening to it......quality lyrics too.....if ya know what i mean  Is that the one with the white dove speared by a bayonet on the cover?
  4. Eug - did you have any trouble with conflict with your car alarm door sensor ?
  5. This thread is quite interesting as most members seem to be fans of late seventies rock and the eighties indie scene. Most could be explained by similar age grouping but even the younger early twenties types are listening to the brilliant Roger Waters autobiography - The Wall. And I thought everyone was listening to Hearsay and Darius etc......... Or maybe that just non Corrado owners :!: :!:

  8. Now I'm really confused!!
  9. Anyone know the email address of the Sprinter Editor, Jeremy Bromley? I need to get a hold of him but only have his work telephone and don't want to bother him there
  10. I must admit never actually seen these wheels before but think theyre very nice and understated. Were they made to supply VW or are they an aftermarket wheel? As theyre made by BBS you can be sure they won't start peeling or going brown, and supplied with tyres, there's no doubt you have a good deal there...and cheap delivery!
  11. :) :) :) you are punishing yourself adding up the bills.............. :) :) :)
  12. well around 400-500 notes tops Thanks Asim, can you recommend any suppliers for the Bilstein - and do you thinks the heavier weight of the Corrado as opposed to the Golf might compromise the ride quality?
  13. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... ed+garages
  14. Hi there all My 15 A fuse for the spoiler keeps blowing every few weeks. It wouldnt be a problem, only the same fuse controls the fuel pump - so the car dies everytime the fuse blows. Anyone???
  15. which of the suspension lowering kits wil provide the drop but still give a comfortable ride? Most of the posts regarding this mod seem to concentrate on getting maximum droppage, but which one to use if you want to preserve the C's comfortable ride? I heard the Weitec kit from C&R was the best compromise - any thoughts?

sounds like a lengthy, drawnout affair to me............
  17. How many of the Corrado's contemporaries are running around in one piece today? Rattles or not, you have to bear in mind the car is at least 9 years old and its competitors at the time have all but disappeared from the roads. Thats evidence of build quality if I ever saw it
  18. Many thanks to Graeme (Biggrim) who supplied a new Porter manual in double quick time Cheers!!

    Hmmmm

Interesting that it made the BBC news.........
  20. Magnex DO make a 6x4 oval but it looks huge and outta place on a Corrado - so I went for the smaller oval which I am very pleased with as it is a good fit and not to ostentatious
  21. didnt 'Skynet' take over the world in that Arnie film?
  22. I sold my first C 3 years ago and had ideas of getting a nice new/nearly new sporty coupe or even a boxster After doing all the research, I had the option of spending a lot of money for a rapidly depreciating car or getting a crap cheap runaround I ended up using my bicycle for a couple of years because I couldnt find a replacement for the Corrado's performance, value, economy and practicality.I didn't realise how good the C really was until it was gone. So when I had to buy a car - I found another Storm and now Im happy again. I had to buy some 2.4m length timber the other day and it fit nicely into the C. Now I couldn't have done that with a boxster So my advice - stick with the Corrado because the novelty of the A3 will wear off and you will see a lot more of them on the road than the C
