  1. Yeah but they're dogs, so they either won't be round much longer or will have to have a huge amount of work done on them. You won't find tidy VR's for under £5k, maybe a little less if they have standard cloth seats. Mine was just over £5k and it still needs pretty much new suspension, brakes and tyres all round.
  2. Thanks dude, it was a case of love at first sight :)
  3. Yeah those Lupo wipers aren't the ones I bought. I'm sure mine were more like £40ish the pair from VW which includes the arm and blade as a kit. Part no. V6X2 998 406 http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... &start=140 I'm picking them up today tho, so I'll let you know when I get them.
  4. I've placed my order with my spanner monkey  I buy him tools, he picks up my parts and fits them for me :D
  5. There was a big thread on them the other week and the consensus was they're utterly useless. You can have a search if you want to see the full 4 pages of conversation :)
  6. I needed petrol when I picked it up and couldn't make it much further than Tesco, but it's the last time. Esso from now on, don't worry.
  7. It's gotta be worth a shot, there's an Esso within spitting distance of where I work, so I'll pay the extra 1p a litre and fill up there rather than Tesco.
  8. Oh yeah :) Air con is good too ;) The Recaro's are nice, the grey ones seem to be pretty rare, but the black ones are REALLY rare. I was dead chuffed, especially as the car was advertised as having standard cloth :D And yeah the headlight washers come on the same time as the windscreen washers.
  9. Yeah I noticed the monsterous washer tank! But you can see the light getting darker when you spray them, so there must be a fair amount of water going onto them. I really should get the headlight glass replaced before the chip in it goes right through.
  10. Thanks man :) I'm not sure the headlight washers do a whole load, but it's cool to have them :) I'll take pics of the Recaro's after I've cleaned and fixed them (someone took the levers off them!)
  11. Bugger, and I just ordered them from VAG, cos I thought that was the only place you could get em  Ho hum. At least I got a big discount.
  12. Sheppards in Bishop's Stortford gave me parts club prices and a 10% discount on everything else I just ordered (pushing £250!) just by me saying I had a Corrado Club membership. They didn't even ask for my membership number. Thoroughly nice chap too, extremely helpful. 01279 505079
  13. Looks better in pictures doesn't it? :D
  14. Ahh ok :) The GSF fairy came at lunch (he was quite butch for a fairy) so parts ahoy for the weekend :D
  15. I guess your internet is working now then :D
  16. And I was just going to do a search for what kind of grease I should use on my spolier. Hopefully all my sunroof needs is some grease and it will slide again. But then again it tils and I've got AC, so I'm not bothered if it doesn't work :D
  17. Ah this could be interesting as my C currently has chunky (VW) rubber mats in it. They look too new to be original issue and the rear ones are too thick to go under the front seats. If I can add some carpet ones to my already substantial VW order that'd be grand.
  18. The VW fit head units should definitely have the VW logo on them like mine - http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12106 (not a Storm one)
  19. Yeah I definitely wouldn't bolt shit on. Slows it down and makes it rather smelly. But then you could be going for that agricultural look I suppose
  20. Good stuff, thanks dazzy. I'll try and be careful with the locating screw, but if it shears, it shears. I could try some penetrating oil on it, but I get a bit jumpy about having any kind of oil near brakes!
  21. Oooh you make it sound like so much fun :-( I've got a full set of tools including some rather large breaker bars and impact sockets, but nothing to re-tap screw holes with. I really hope they're not ceased up, but I guess there's only one way to find out. I think I'll get some new bolts anyway, because it's got to be better to put new bolts back in. Thanks for the tips though
  22. Good stuff, thanks coullstar. That was what I was hoping :)
  23. Ok so who was the nutter frantically waving and beeping at me in Quendon just before 6 this evening? I was in my C and you were in a blackberry Mondeo...
