I don't know if it was related but I used to get the same problem with my MK3 Golf and replaced the earth strap on the bonnet and never had the problem again. I also stopped wearing shell suits at the same time so could have been that also :oops:

Well, this is a bit random and was discovered on a country road at 10pm with no road markings - YES! When I have my lights on and click on the full beam I just get the side lights/parking lights on? I have the head light loom conversion on also (don't know if this could affect anything) I haven't checked the bulbs but seems a bit strange they would both go at the same time? The fuses appear to be fine, first time I've ever checked them on the Corrado. I read the car manual - always carry spare bulbs - well thank you

Ah, well thats two of us then - quite unique really as there are around 7000 Corrado's registered to be on the roads, maybe 600-700 black ones, maybe 250 have leather and I imagine 10 at the most have red vr6 badges, 666 number plates etc, I'd say thats quite unique, I doubt many have changed all the interior bulbs to be red also (currently doing that) I could blast and powder coat the chassis parts red?

72k - apparently the VR6 engine is best at mid 70's, someone told me a while back? might not be true, who knows
