You wouldn't believe the hassle ive had with this fu*king idiot AND ebay :censored: This has been my worst experience ever on ebay! And im ready to delete my account but the only reason im keeping it is to watch what this bast/\rd is doing...I WILL get my revenge. To cut a long story short... Car sells to local guy at £960.50. I specified a collection of within 7 days. After auction end i email to arrange payment/collection, and give him my phone number. He emails me an 'offer' of £900. So i email ebay to warn them in advance that my winning bidder is breaking the rules and potentially going to cause problems. I included/forwarded the email where he made the first offer. I email him purposefully through ebay to explain that he won it at £960.50 and that his offer was breaking the rules. He emails me back "No rules being broken, i have £900 here" WTF!!!??? :censored: I reply (again through ebay) stating that "Im afraid i have to decline your 'offer' and i require payment in full, and that the time for collection was running out. No reply from him, i email several more times...and the 7 days runs out. I file a dispute (item not paid for) Ebay refund my final value fee, but the guy comes with this absolute bullsh|t as a reply in the dispute... I have already paid for this item. Payment details are as follows: Payment type: Cash Amount: £960.50 Payee: Neil Payment date: 19-Apr-2009 Additional comments: Seller has been very unco-operative and have had loads of communication problems and prices have been altered and car is not in same condition. This has been a tramautic experience for me and i have sought further advice from my solictor. WTF!?!? :censored: So i reply to the dispute with: Is this guy for real? You have NOT been to see the car, You OFFERED me £900 for it instead of the final selling price, You HAVE NOT collected the car in the time i specified (7 days), AND YOU DEFINATELY HAVE NOT PAID FOR IT!!! As for being uncoperative, Ive emailed you several times declining your illegal offer. I have these emails as proof. Traumatic? I AM THE ONE AWAITING PAYMENT AND LEFT WITH AN UNCOLLECTED VEHICLE! And unbelievably!!!! Ebay then remove the unpaid item strike from his fecking account!!! :censored: I email the bast/\rd asing him "Why are you blatantly lying?, YOU made offers and didn't buy the car in my specified timeI have forwarded your 'offers' to ebay" He replied with "Dont worry i have told ebay about your emails" AGAIN, WTF? Countless emails were sent to ebay with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE, Nothing! Explaining that is wasted my time emailing them in the first place including the illegal offer etc. It gets worse... HE!!! then files an 'item not received dispute'!!! :censored: So i replied to the dispute with: The buyer emailed me several offers of the same amount (£900) after the auction ended. I explained to him (in emails i still have) that this is against ebay policy, i also emailed ebay themselves explaining the situation of the illegal offer and non collection, non payment for the car and received a reply from ebay on 19/4/09. The buyer has broken all possible rules and im still with the car which hasn't been paid for, which i needed to sell to acquire the space. He then replied with!!! Get this!!! he has been abusive and the car was not as described, and sold the vehicle to another person, i am gravely disapointed. So i had now apparently sold the car elsewhere!!! :censored: Fecking lying b/\stard!!! Again, countless emails to ebay explaining that i still have the car sat on the drive, now getting in the way all through an idiot who broke the rules, did NOT pay for the car or collect it in my specified time, received an item not paid strike as he rightly should have, and then had it removed! But yet you will not respond to me!!! I even told them i would relist the car to prove it...its a black and white issue!!! Oh it gets worse... he then made his feedback 'private', i could only leave positive anyway which is rediculous. But look at the feedback he left me!!! So after taking a deep breath, and carrying on with my story...He said he would be able to remove the feedback if it is defamatory, which he didn't think it was! :censored: Not defamatory? blatant lies that make me look to be dishonest!? and would he remove this lying criminal of an ebay user? Some say to disconnect the main ht lead and turn the engine over for a bit, but imo its better to just fire it up and get full oil pump pressure asap. I guess you could sneak a little fresh engine oil in the feed hole (uppermost) ? But the bearings (after a rebuild) should be well greased up anyway for quick running in. Neil.

Hi mate, check the condition of the injector wiring loom, they take some real abuse heat wise and become brittle/split with age. Neil.

Quick question lads, Ive just been given a full! black leather hide...One of the same brands that MJ offers for his retrims :clap: Does anybody know how far a full hide would go as far as trimming corrado seats/cards? Would it cover say the front seats and front door cards? Its pretty big like, sort of cow shaped :nuts: but hard for me to know how far it would go... Neil.

I am on dodgy ground with the fecking thing like you say, but the manifold along with a system/cam/nitrous/remap etc was supposed to get done a while ago...And i kinda feel like it just aint finished yet and id love to see what sort of figures it can give as one good point is that the engine is a nice and tight one with real good compression, dosn't use a drop of oil etc. I know what you mean about grinding a washer, can just picture what ya saying with the runners being close to the holes for the studs. Im not overly keen on using stainless bolts with the diffarent expansion rates between them and the head really. All the studs.nuts/washers should hopefully be in good order as i replaced them all not many miles back, but id still go for new nuts/washers anyway. One thing im stuck on is how to actually go about fitting it along with a new system. :scratch: If i fit the manifold ill have to drive it to pipewerx very loudly :lol: If i fit it at pipewerx (assuming Ian would let me) i may run into problems etc. Not sure...

Cheers mate, I think its just to make things easier? Unsure tbh. Just wondering if having bigger bore runners makes it difficult to fit the OE nuts maybe? Ive always managed easily enough with a 12mm socket but on standard manifolds.

Bump. Can i basically give this spec to someone to grind it? Or is there anything potentially wrong with it?

Ive got a g-werks 4 branch manifold that im after fitting at some stage soon... Now, all the manifold studs/copper squash nuts/washers were all replaced by myself with new ones maybe a couple years ago, but id like to use new nuts/washers again as a matter of course. Will the standard copper squash nuts and washers fit ok? Ive read that some people have used allen bolts and removed the studs from the head thats all. Cheers, Neil.

Its hated me since the day i bought it :lol: Intercooler - Sierra cosworth - Check. :salute: :D Charger - Full blend pitstop - Check. :salute: :D Head work, was planning to port one meself but unsure now. Its currently 206 brake so a cam would be a bit more power for cheapish money, was gonna spec one for use in both standard head and self ported head with bigger valves. I still have the 4 branch sat around too...And its still running the standard but decatted exhaust system, so there's potentially some good gains to come from the ol 1800cc yet. Just undecided whether or not to keep going with it to try and keep the enthusiasm going for it. :scratch:

It passed nno probs cheers mate...but... After the G60 had been on the road for all of a few days after all the recent work, the problems started again. :pale: The end tank of the radiator is cracked and slowly weeping coolant. The power steering pump (No longer available from vw! :bad-words: ) is screaching on full lock. And someone has popped one of the tyres...again :bad-words: Ive really fallen out with the whole car game lately, can't even be ar$ed sorting the tyre/finding some one who is competant/caring enough to fit a new tyre. :roll: So its looked like this for around 3 weeks...Been thinking about a cam along with sorting the 'new problems' out just to try and get some enthusiasm back but i dunno...Maybe its time to call it a day. I used to run 195/45 toyo's on the 8j design 90's and they were the absolute smallest width/ratio i would go. I would have gone wider at the time if i could have...The handling was crap imo. I sold them to a guy with a vr6 and he had a blow out on the motorway on the way home (they were all recent tyres) Read into that what you will. Id go wider on the 9j borbets if i could (215/40's) Neil.

How do guys... Can anyone spot any obvious issues with the below G60 cam spec? Any thoughts on it? Are those valve lifts achievable/able to be gotten along with the other spec? And are those timings looking alright? Well after getting the g60 back on the road after lots of work (again) the love lasted all of a few days...Things started breaking again, radiator/power steering pump, another popped tyre which im sure someone has done. Ive feel like ive totally had it with cars all together tbh, the enthusiasm has just gone...the motors, the meets, even the show im part of running is all seeming so uninteresting all of a sudden. :( Considering selling the g60 and buying a form of transport instead of an old modified motor. Really feel like ive had enough of it all.

Whats your ignition timing set at mate? Neil.
