Here's my G60 numbers. A corrected 254.4bhp at the flywheel, along with 222lbft. Slightly up on the last run, which is nice as it's had some very minor work in between. Good to see everyone today, some new faces as well as the more familiar ones...

Looking forward to this now. Got a rough work week coming up, but roll on a week on sunday..... Think I'm going to bring some of my spare parts up as well, in case anyone fancies some pre christmas shopping. -
I've got one of these at home - bought for a mapping session but then never needed. Will check tonight and let you know. They are pricey new - got mine from Porsche as other places seemed not to be able to get them (they were 924S ones from memory). Also might be worth double checking the part number, as there are a couple of threads floating about which reference the wrong one.
-
I had a Jabbasport chip in mine when I first got it, and it did just this - it overfuelled badly, so when you take your foot off the exhaust fuel is dumped into the exhaust and it goes bang. Depends on the chip you have and whether everything is running as it should be. Mine's setup properly now and doesn't do it.

Very sorry to hear about this. There has beeen good and bad reviews of them on here over time, however I've been working with Darren on my G60 for nearly 7 years now. My first experience with him was buying a black carpet from him when I first got my car - while I was down there he happened to mention that he was a G60 specialist and was starting a company, and at that point my work with the g60 was born. He was always there at the end of the phone when I needed him, he didn't waste my time recommending things I didn't need, he kept an eye out for certain spare parts for me when I needed them. I'll miss your presence in the the G60 world mate...

Hi Phil, just placed an order for the Pioneer for my GF's car. Cheers :D -
Hmm, but difficult with the stickers - no part numbers or anything on there (even Bosch numbers)? I believe the 90A ones are physically slightly larger than the normal 65A ones, but with a comparison one there it would be difficult to tell.
-
Hi EO - is the alternator a 90A one - if so I'll take it for the asking price? Let me know how much it comes to with shipping please.
-
Oh wow - don't normally get fired up about the 'for sale' posts - but that is very very nice for the money. Unfortunately explains why a lot of them are getting broken. Now, where did I put that winning lottery ticket, and lets save this one from the breaker vultures

Firstly welcome.... The oil/water heat exchanger is a known weak point on these cars. It's a common G60 modification to get rid of this and replace it with a standalone oil cooler. You also need to use (thinks back into deepestes darkest memories) a MkI golf coolant hose to join up the bits where the heat exchanger went. There will be thread on here about it, which will give more specifics. Basically you'll need a Mocal oil cooler or something similar and the relevent pipework. Easily doable yourself if you have some mechanical skill - rough guess for the parts $200-300.
-
Cool, ok. Hate to say it but I'm the last person to offer a cf bonnet to - I already have one . I seem to remember there were a few people on here looking for one - Rob_b for one - might be worth contacting him directly.
-
You never know - he might have been heading back over to civilisation some time soon
-
Yep, unwanted gift - it was given to my girlfriend and she doesn't want it. Only cash for this i'm afraid, so no swaps. Go on VR6, you know you want it....
-
I have a brand new sealed Ipad2 3G 16gb in black for sale. This is still sealed and was an unwanted gift. Looking for £400 (RRP on these is around 480 at the moment). Located near M25, J13 - collection only (sorry folks, but not willing to post this). Cash on collection or bank transfer please.

G60 Rolling Road Set Up or re-map.. Where from? Recommendations Please
JMC replied to P3rks's topic in Engine Bay
Stealth racing - talk with Vince. They can do a rolling road remap (they did mine). Assuming you are still running a 1.8l then I would expect to see about 230bhp at the flywheel on their rollers with your setup. Or Chipwizards as mentioned above. -
Yep, done it with mine. Just used the loom and switch that came with the late interior. For the late switch, the early instrument cluster needs opening up by a few mm as the late switches are slightly larger than that. Otherwise it all went in fine.
-
Nope nothing like that with mine, and yep the mileage is similar. Maybe different grades/types of alcantara?
-
Mines been fine as a daily - had it in for 5 years now, although I only do about 7k per year in total.
-
Here you go - from page 2 of my build thread... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?20906-JMC-s-G60-Dash-tweaks-22-8/page2

I have black leather and grey alcantara in mine as retrim (but not with stitching like that, lol). Much prefer it to all leather and makes it looks much less dark and dingy in there, so can definitely recommend it.

What can I expect to see from a stage 4 rebuild on a G60?
JMC replied to vw_john's topic in Engine Bay
As above. If you have loads of oil in your pipes then most likely you have blown an oil seal. Not sure what you are asking for - are you wondering what power you would expect from a stage 4 rebuild, or what boost pressure, or have you already had a stage 4 rebuild and are wondering what it should be like?? If you have a standard head and cam, and have a standard intercooler, and you are running a 68mm pulley, I'd expect to see a lot more pressure than that. That points towards getting a rebuild. When was it last done? -
What's going on VR6, and is it time for a new jailor to keep the inmates incheck  PS anyone reading, check the cars for sale section in case you don't know what this is about.
