well the car is at stealth, i decided to take it there this afternoon just in case we have a really cold spell tonight, and did not fancy taking it down some icy roads at 7.30 in the morning, in true corrado form the bloody ignition switch decided to break this morning :censored: so i have asked vince to fix it as i trully couldn't be arsed to do it today. Vince was very busy when i was there with a problem Seat Leon, but he's hoping to look at mine tomorrow/saturday. Yeh i'm getting excited :D
-
and i have 2 that i dont know what i'm going to do with yet??
-
Mmmm they look a little like my Gotti's i just sold, you should be able to get them to fit with some adaptors and some arch work. karl
-
nice motor stan, does it have the very rare BMW optional indicator stalk, or like all other BMW drivers will you just turn without any warning.
-
chris just to let ya no, "boxster rears 986.352.421 & 422 are configured for a 20mm disc and you cannot physically get this caliper over the top of a 25mm wide VAG 312 Disc. The difference is on the pad pegs, they extend further out on the rears to fit the thinner discs" while this is very true, all that many many people have done in the past is to grind the pegs back 3mm per peg to allow the fitment of wider discs, these callipers will allow a maximum discs thickness off 30mm.

put a new cable on my car about 4 weeks ago and have never got it working right :? it lifts up on the drivers side but it wont lift up on the passengers side :censored: it was soooooo long ago when i took the old one off i cant remember 100% how it attached, so is this correct?? and should the wire be tight or loosish. cheers karl
-
well only 39hrs to go until it gets on the rollers at stealth, i hope it all goes well?? but no doubt something will go wrong :(
-
who cares? if your worried about economy don't shove an r32 into your engine bay :)
-
does the owner to this ex corrado come on here?? i'm deeply gutted for you :( http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.p ... 198607&hl=

Which corrado do you have - vr6 Any modifications (DECLARED)- just a few and all declared Do you have a thatham 1 alarm - yes How old are you - old (38) how many NCB do you have - shite loads Who are you insured with - HIC Is it TPFT or Fully Comp - fully comp How much do you pay £380

these ones mate http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-LEON-CUPRA-R ... 240%3A1318 these are the exact ones i have been using, they are actually made by EBC or these ones http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-LEON-CUPRA-3 ... 240%3A1318 and as for the above question mate, all i can tell you is the difference between the standard 312,s and running the brembo and 323's is huge, but many people are running 312's with the brembo's and they say they are also fantastic so maybe its just the four pots that make the most improvement.
-
oh yeh sorry James, i mean the brembos are to wide so i needed 12mm spacers to get the brembo callipers to fit without catching the inside of the RC's. why dont you just use the 323mm discs mate, they were cheap enough when i bought mine. karl
-
ok cheers guys, i'm sure i will see all that when i come to fit them :)
-
handed discs?? what the hell does that mean :?
-
theres a guy on ed38 running brembo's and r32 discs, and he needs 12mm spacers to clear the spokes on 17" CH's, with my brembo and 323mm discs theres plenty of room for bigger discs, its just the callipers that are to wide for the RC's due to offsets etc etc
-
you forgot bigpantsbaby pete, so that makes 8/9 i think.
-
did not realise you were doing the full haldex Andy, i will be following that very very closely :notworthy:
-
you don't know half of it mate, i still have another 2 lots of "special" front seats i have bought but can't decide what i will do with them yet.
-
