What 80's - 90s cars for sale have caught your eye recently.
Keyo replied to Keyo's topic in General Car Chat
Shit me the 964 RS in marine blue is all ready up to 180 k with 5 days left- I remember when these were 30k and im sure even less and folks purchased them for track days. The 997 GT RS is doing really well as well 305k - the 997 R the one with the retro interior just daft monet. The GT on 735 k - wow - Porsche are and always will be the best mainstream manufacturer investment in the car industry . -

Geri trust me there are more - he has 3 or 4 964 RS alone - video below chap with the whole collection. I just think there are that many they are splitting the cars in lots. I Imagine Leonard was the creator of carboard roll in toilet paper or something like that- or maybe a divorcee solicitor. -
Awesome advert mate- the Yanks have always loved a body kit to be fair - I wonder what the alloys are in the picture. My Zender kit is missing the fixing kit- is it just a case of some tiger seal you reckon to house them.

I just sold a set of BBS RC 322 size 16 5x 100 to a New Zealand chap living down London - they are a very light wheel but very hard to get a set in size 16 more common in 17 and 18- in fact you can still by the 18s new from classics. I had a lump in my throat letting them go to be honest as they look brilliant on a corrado. BBS RX226 have always ;looked good. All these wheels are really hard to get now in a size 16 to be honest. Its even hard to get a set of Sebrings !

That mild champagne colour is oil stain residue bled into the plastic. VHT 800 degree silver gives it an nice finish followed by a Lacquer.

Ohh and 400 percent profit - not bad. ha. You can buy some really good copies of the caps now For 70 euro including postage so if you can grab a cap less set for a bargain its worth it - mine cost £ 200.00 and caps 70 euro.

The only time I have seen them are on breakers cars in Europe- Ebay ebay kleinanzeigen If you google corrado Kamei corrado Zender There is a silver breakers car in Germany on there that has some zender parts and some BBS RM with missing caps- also has a Kamei kit minus front and rear bumper . Something normally comes up but its rare to see a complete kit - the front splitters got damaged a lot. Its a shame so many shit kits are out there and not one of them could make a copy kit of Kamei the dumb ass holes. Problem with the site is a lot of the Germans are not very trusting and dont accept paypal - I just ordered a Right) side grab handle A pillar upper trim (passenger LHD) because I like a grab handle on drivers side.

I would say there would be some intensest for sure - im ok myself as have now a strict policy x2 sets of alloys per car. Although these would be sweet and just sell the stock 15s and these are basically stock just larger.

Bit of an update on Black Magic mini build. Closing in on the finishing line. O2a gearbox is been built up with the VWMS 5 + 6 add on . I also stumbled across this lone pair of nos Zender side skirts from Australia which I want just to give the car a bit more Aero width along side the spoonfed extended spoiler. I tell you what though wouldn't an early g60 Zender build be a great project minus the over spoiler for me though anyone got one in the UK . Has anyone got a set of these Zender skirts think there might be a couple of types knocking about Im also a big fan of Goldfinger Kamei X! kit which his aware of ha. It would be rude to not add an X1 Kamei - its look real classy - one with the mobile phone from 1990 or 91 brochure.

Very nice alloys - always been more of Speedline fan then BBS= love the RuF Speedlines . They have been owned by Ronal for sometime .

The plastics are not to bad to be honest its only when they get old they fail.

You should get an early one pretty easy its the late ones that are a bugger to get- pretty sure chris ferry will have a few of the early ones.

Any of these numbered 13 on diagram wiith 1322 mm should fit I think the 5 studs are 140 mm. I think you need these 191601149K https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/rdw/corrado/cor/1995-76/6/601-107010/#13 Sorry to be a Nerd but literally 80 percent of the vag population call these alloys RZ - they are called BBS RJ.which are the none spilt versions of the RM and have same caps and curved spokes whereas the RZ has straight spokes available in a size 14 from VAG and 15 and 16 from BMW with both 4 and 5 stud- they are the none split version of the RS splits and a much better looking alloy IMO/ . -
Fire away Ive owned several 996 and 997 and currently do - I know everything you need to know if your thinking about buying one. Especially my point of view on why you should buy a 997.1 over a 997.2/ I have my 19 factory alloys in the garage and like to drive mine on 18s also have upgraded to the M030 static sports suspension. I like narrow body - rwd - and static suspension (hate pasm ) I like mine as a B road bomber- not into awd or wide hips- 19s horrible on UK roads and handle poor I can tell you a lot about the engine failures and rebuilds - I also use an ex porsche master tech who now works for McLaren in Solihull - he uses his mates ramp on the weekend and labour cost three times cheaper then indys or Porsche . I just buy the parts from Porsche. Pm me if you want to chat on the phone as far too much info to give over typing. I can explian what to look out for and my man mathe behind buying a 997.1 . 997.2 DFI are now scoring too as many going into Hartech now not worth the premium and 997.1 better looking cars. The safest car in the 997.1 range is a manual 3.6 carrear- worst at auto 3.8 s = of coursre tubo and GT cars have the bullet proof mezger block - dont over look a 996 turbo with a mezger.

Think I would rather have a helicopter at that price. The Audi S2 above didnt reach reserve at auction - got to 16k so I would say that's what a good S2 is worth these days = although Im sure they will double in the next few years , -
Thanks ABV just glad to get a set with no nasty damage as these are getting hard to find.

Finally managed to get a set of Sebrings minus the caps after the sebring split rim industry is swallowing the whole stoke like a fishing trawler. . Took the MK2 200 mile round trip to St Albans tonight and she didnt miss abeat- used only a third of a tank and flowed in with the motorway traffic - was a very sunny evening great to get out. The sebrings caps x4 can be purchased off this seller for 50 euro for x4 (will need primer and paint) who I know well have purchased a few itmens off him before in regards to votex consoles. He is also making Corrado window scrapers at x2 for 50 euros. Also worth noting my bumper and plastics after 6 weeks of Wruth plastic dye- awesome product. https://www.facebook.com/commerce/listing/792002994743550/?ref=share_attachment
