I think i fished most of it out last time i was under there 8)

Is that all 8)

But both will have the same amount of grip on a piece of tarmac. Seriously.
-
That's not true, my rear rims are wider and the grip is incredible at the rear, vastly improved, only down side is the car scrubs off more speed in the corners. Noticed how every supercar has wider rear wheels/tyres and F1 cars. Not exactly true either, the static grip is the same, for both wide and narrow tyres (of the same compund and pressure) .however a larger contact patch will heat the tyre up less, meaning either more or less grip depending on compound and how hot the tyres were before. What you probably havent considered is the geometry changes you can cause with wider / narrower wheels. The rear tyres on a fwd car dont really do much in the way of accelerating/ braking and so probably run quite cool as all they have to do is corner, wide rears at the back wont increase grip becasue the tryes dont get that hot, however they may reduce it because they end up too cold. Wide fronts would probably help as they do most fo the work, but that brings bigger steering and geometry changes during cornering.

Slave cylinder next to g-box. If you've got fluid leaking it shouldnt be too hard to find the source - wipe all joints clean then press the pedal. the cullprit should then become obvious.

Tested in a bloody monaro, what good is that to people who want tyres for sub 700kg cars    This might be of interest to people considering differnt wheels / tyres to standard http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/showthread.php?s=b8b3c38bf4c66da9871bc7806d307ceb&threadid=60132&perpage=15&pagenumber=2

I agree with blue tbh, I wouldnt be swopping clocks out except as a last resort....

Play in the shaft will lead to the blades touching the housing and stalling - giving no boost and if you start losing bits of the compressor it'll end up in the engine. Any smoke at all? Have you switched the car off when its been really hot recently - that could have mashed the bearing which (AFAIK in audi turbo's) could lead to play or it may even be sticking.
-
You need to undo the bracket directly above the sensor though, because it prevents you from pullign the clip out. Only 1 bolt and takes seconds. A cool engine is a good idea, especialy if you get someone else to do it for you, they may not appreciate a hot hand.  You coming over for lunch dom, and have you sorted that film out yet?

Git. I should have been there, instead I was heaving a dying cavalier round some very plesant scottish B roads. My polo made that kind of smoke when I took ross out for that little blatt ages ago  -
He'll be able to light up the tyres even in 5th... so could be a little lairy ;) I hope not in 5th (in the dry) but 3rd from 2mph or above should be do-able. Going to make second gear roundabouts lots of fun. Spare pair of pants anyone? When i get back from holiday i'll start my own thread and post pics so far.... How was you missus dom?
-
8) Heads on now and timed up, rear suspension is finished, just off on holiday to recover. I think i'll just have to avoid roundabouts when giving passenger rides

Works best on caterhams, but can be made to order for other cars (probably) lhttp://www.mycaterham.com/81112.html

Thats pretty accurate, plus the sierra weighs over 1600kgs OTR. However, 330bhp is just a chip away and in the proper chassis (ie mine) no C would stand a chance.
