On my 1.8 KR 16v i need to check the wiring on the top of the oil filter mount / cooler. I have a Blue and yellow wire to connect but both of my sensors have black collars so i cannot find which way round they go. Anybody have any ideas? Cheers

Hi, Can anybody confirm that the ISV control unit is on the top of the fuse box? Apparently on a Mk2 golf valver its behind the dash, however ETKA shows it on the relay box for a rado

folks, Have just stripped my 16v lump out of my rado to go in my cabby. Have a planned g60 conversion for the rado this summer although i am yet to obtain the engine etc. Are there any common sections of the wiring to or in the engine bay that are common between the 16v and g60 or is it all different - trying to work out what i can use for my 16v conversion without making my life hard when i do my g60 conversion

Folks Has anybody got a copy of the wiring diagram for the ISV on a 1800 16v (Kjet)? Either that or can somebody verify the its supply - have 1no white wire and 1no white/black wire Many thanks

i have a full bra for the front of mine - think it looks pants tbh >> but it stops my new paint being trashed on motorways (the only time its on) Gay or not - seems stupid to spend all those hard earned pounds on paint and not try and protect it.

Also - what does it mean if ure vin/chassis number is not on any of the computers at and VW dealers - any suggestions? Only ask coz mine has never yet been found on one and they always seem to think that its really strange

does anybody know if it is possible to find out how early a rado was made in the scheme of things? Mines an early G reg and wondered how many there were before mine etc Spose you could also find out who had the last 1 as well Any ideas?
