  1. Have you got any more pics of this car? Preferably from the side. Id never thought of those wheels on a raddo before but I reckon it would really suit them. 8)
  2. Im still up for getting a pack if your there again.
  3. After seeing the specs and pics of your vr in the members gallery I reckon youd be mad to sell it. Your highly unlikely to get what its worth wheras I imagine you got that g60 pretty cheap so you wont really loose anything on it.
  4. Also consider Fulda Extremos, very similar in grip levels to the Toyos though there not quite as soft so dont squirm about as much when pushed.
  5. But what scale is the 35% reduction in. If you convert 25deg to Kelvin, take off the 35% then convert back to celcius you have a temp of -80deg. 8) A huge intake temp reduction.
  6. Sounds 8) Henny, how are you finding the Quaife?
  7. What car is the 6A from? :? Is that the Audi 2.0 16v?
  8. AFAIK there the same as the late mk3 golf vr6 288mm calipers. The disks have a different offset though so you need them from the mk3
  9. Hmm, im sure ive seen a vr6 kit listed on there before. Send them an email or give them a phone, there usually very helpful and im pretty certain they will have exactly what ure after.
  10. http://www.thinkauto.com/
  11. Dunno about size but I think stealth racing or 16vg60 can supply full kits.
  12. Yip, will contact him at some point.
  13. Excellent, will need to find out now what the minor work is. I can start thinking now about what coilovers to buy, 8) gonnae be a few months to save the cash though :( .
  14. Probably, just found out though that the rear top mounts are also the same on the corrado and golf so I reckon my shocks and springs will go straight on, even if there not the ideal rate. Chances are we'll stick them on and see how it goes. :)
  15. Looking at the gs&f catalogue they list the same standard shocks for Golf3 gti/16v/vr6 corrado vr6, so right now im thinking they will fit. :?
  16. Hmm, coilover kit part number is 1150-5002-1 for the golfs and corrado. The other suspension kit they do is 1110-2019 for the golf but they dont list one for the corrado vr6.
  17. Were the avos coilovers? I know koni list the same coilover kit for the 2 cars but they list different kits for the T/A's, I dunno what the difference would be though.
  18. As above, im thinking of upgrading to coilovers and have a friend with a mk3 gti 16v that is keen to buy the current setup I have but will they fit? (Konis with Eibach springs, fronts are top adjustable, rears non adjustable damping but 3 position circlip.) Im convinced the fronts will fit, though the springs may be a slightly harder rate than normal for the car but not sure on the rears. :?
  19. I put my k&n in the washing machine with a wee bit of washing up powder, stuck it through an extra rinse and it came out perfect. 8)
  20. Im running about 1 3/4 turns on the front and its ideal, rears arent adjustable though, and could do with being a touch harder. :x Has anyone upgraded from Koni TA's to coilovers? Is there an improvement or just the added ability to adjust the height? :? Any idea how they compare with Koni coilovers?
  21. Including buying the car and insurance ive spent near enough £13'500  Ive only had it just over a year.... Sounds like a lot but not if you think of what some people spend to get something like a brand new focus, in fact id say its a bargain. :-P
  22. Just curious, any reason not to get the 268's as its a future mod im looking at? :?
  23. I used to get a lot of smoke off my front brakes. Havent seen any since I fitted the 288's though. 8)
