with the difficulty of fitting and cost of trimming rears to match on a seat that doesn't look any nicer than the originals i'd have to question the logic?
-

I worked for MINI for a few years and went from a hater to lover.. They're great cars. Roomy enough for a couple, quick, handle well.. not a lot more you can ask for. Suspension can be crashy but coming from coilovers it's rather pleasant!

Digital Version of Corrado, Storm and Supercharged Logos.
bristolbaron replied to MikeVR6's topic in Exterior
Interesting how you say we can trust you.. However, your location is Germany, you have security clearance and "Supercharged Corrado Storm" is an anagram of U.S. TOMOGRAPH CARD RECORDERS I'm not sure what you want with this information, but you wont be getting it from me. :hitler::hitler::hitler: -

Corrado R32 exhaust system - SWAPS for Dubpower manifold
bristolbaron replied to jaysteed's topic in Parts for Sale
if it helps, im 99% sure this system was made by infinity exhausts.. martin could alter it to fit the Jetta at minimal cost if you're anywhere near Bristol. -
sweeeeeeeeeet! good work bud, personal opinion - with gold bolts you need a dark centre - DBP/Anth/Black. If it were me I'd be going silver or chrome powdercoat with silver bolts.. boring but they'd look killer.

crazy thing if the owner really is 'EMIGRATING TO AUSTRAILIA' the car would be worth loads out there..

i made an enquiry about this.. ive got grey leather recaros ready to go in a storm grey vr at some point. thought this was gonna be the one, but you beat me to it!
-
well worth getting a decent layer of lacquer on them, much easier to flat back then for a super shiny finish!

Anyone succesfully repaired the heater direcction control gear?
bristolbaron replied to timmaaah's topic in Interior
superglue wont do the job as the slider pushes against the plastic as it turns. Mine had broken, but i had a spare broken control.. i used the spare plastic to plastic weld [well, push a bit of melted plastic around with a soldering iron] mine. The shape doesn't need to be perfect, but it does need to be properly strong. I guess you could used plastic from something else if you dont have a spare bit.. -
been obsolete for a very long time.. 7 years plus.

Same parts different suppliers. Who should i use !?!
bristolbaron replied to feeenix14's topic in Drivetrain
best bet imo is to phone oem parts, explain the order to them an get recommendations as to which to go for.. most parts guys will say 'go for the cheap one/pay extra for a better one' where needed.. -
forget rear seats.. flat floor and add a cage when you can. if you don't go for it, pm me details, this could be of interest! :bonk:

anti-negotiation tactic.

et0? you've gone from one extreme to the other! no issues with inner clearance, but might rub tyres on outer arch. Could consider a 185/35 nankang for ultimate ridiculousness. photos above look awesome though, i'm off to make a RWD RadoRod..
-
what makes you say they're hella? ive never seen a hella set this style..
-
I think your car colour restricts you a bit in terms of what will work.. Personally I love the beige and think it works well with green. A chocolaty brown could look cool though, but defo old manish!

Gauging interest - Ultimate Dubs clubstand 2014?
bristolbaron replied to Tempest's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Its about 15 minutes from where you bought your car! Last year was the first year there was no Corrado category, due to the very low numbers in attendance. If there were say 10 cars, there may be a Rado/Rocco category again.. -
