The main reason I move threads into their relevant sections is to help with peoples searches in the future, it's alot easier if everything is in it's place so that people can narrow their search to specific forums and find the info they're looking for, without having to go through pages and pages of unrelated info.

I'd say your diagnosis is correct

Looks to be vastly over priced to me mate

Each to their own etc and it's an age old argument but I really cant see why anyone would turn down a bargain stunner of a VR6 with leather etc for a Storm which is the same thing bar a couple of badges and will inevitably cost more  These days, with the general condition that Corrados are in on the whole, i'd be less and less concerned with finding the exact colour you want etc and just concentrate on finding the best example you can get within your budget :) - it's getting more and more difficult to get hold of really decent Corrados which makes storm hunting alot harder than it used to be IMO Just my 2p

The box he's using is in his sig mate. Just got back from RKE, went out for a little pootle in the car and it has to be said, it's fecking savage  awesome machine, the noise it makes is enough to give you a stiffy let alone the power, 3rd and 4th gear were immense  fantastic car :notworthy:

I wonder what the deal is with that? She's a member on here but has never posted by the look of it

  - I'm obviously in a minority, but obviously we're not all going to share the same opinion! - The seats are lovely and the colour goes really nicely with the paintwork, but i'd much prefer it if the dash was left black.
-
Yep, worth more in parts unfortunately, I'd say as it is probebly around the £1k mark due to the plate, without the plate more nearer £600-£700?

:pukeright:

Moved, see sig above ^^

Anyone else think the dash is a bit overkill?
-
Handling would probably be interesting to give a good testing aswell

I like it :) I'd certainly love to have a drive in a rado wearing 14s to see what it's like!

 Nah, i'm still using the bottle of turtle wax I bought in 1996 for £3.50 :smug:

Please try the search before posting a new thread, you'll find that most subjects have been covered a few times at least :dorky: Here's a couple of threads to get you going.. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29962& viewtopic.php?f=3&t=55253&hilit=remove+side+strips

A 2 min google search came up with this thread on club lupo - http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php? ... vice+light -
Do you mean the cheap (£40) ebay ones or the more expensive digital ones? (or both?) I've decided against using one anyway and will be going for a remap instead at some point
-
I've done a bit more reading on these boxes, apparently the cheap ebay ones are just a resistor in a box, as said above - but there are digital boxes available at around the £150 mark that are worth having as a cheap alternative to a re-map, they dont just increase the ammount of fuel pushed through. Allthough to my mind once you've paid for a RR session on top of the £150 you may aswell go the extra £100 or so for a proper re-map. I'll probably go for a re-map, as soon as i've paid for the bumper and rear lense to be repaired/replaced after Mrs W reversed into a wall the other day
-
Dont get me wrong, i've said it before on here - I've spent years driving Corrados over thousands and thousands of miles and have never been let down - but that certainly doesn't mean that i'd class Corrados as a cheap car to run! Selling an Audi to buy a Corrado for reliability and reduced running costs is not a good idea. Buying the right car and staying one step ahead of the repair costs can save you ALLOT of money, if you can get your hands on a nice low mileage or cherished example they can be very reliable, much the same as any car really.

Anyone know where I can get a US spec front bumper??

I may be wrong, but I seem to remember that Billinjah on here had one for sale a while back - he may still have it so it might be worth PMing him
