    PCD= pitch circle diameter................its the measurement of the bolt-holes(not individually tho) for fixing the wheel onto the car ALL 8v,16v and G60 C's have 4(holes)x100PCD and ALL VR6's have 5(holes)x100

    too add to what jedi has said...............standard wheels are 6j(width) and IIRC you can get away with 7j or 7.5jwide rims without any arch/clearance probs

    AFAIK its not true........electro PAS pumps are relatively new and certainly were not around in volume when the C was in production :wink:

    sounds like its yer fuel pump causing the stalling......mine did it very infrequently since i bought it 3 years ago and hasn't done it since getting a new fuel pump near on 12 months ago......also might be worth checking yer fuses and relays to see if they are securely held in place too........as for the idle and starting problems......could well be the temp sensor......about a tenner from VW and easy enough i would imagine for you to change........best get someone with VAG-COM to check it out too

    normally the early Golf VR...............tho there is an outside chance that they were available as an optional extra for the C VR6 over here :wink:.....in fact the original Autocar road test of the C VR had them on.....but this was also a LHD German example so i would imagine there was more chance of them being on non-UK spec ones than on UK spec ones :wink:

    i use Synta-gold in mine............purely because its always been fed that and don't really want to change its diet :D ..........don't seem to have any problems with it....(touch wood) and i think it makes it only a tiny wee bit noiser than other VR's that have the semi-synthetic in it :wink:
