silver one parked on the road by The Ship in Linslade

Seen a few on my travels recently: Red (Valver?) parked on main road in Bierton. nr Aylesbury. Silver/grey ish coloured one driving along main road in Bierton, just along from the parked one, yesterday about 3.30ish. Black one driving along a38 in Cross, Somerset about 8-8.30 ish friday morning.

Don't think we're going to go to GTI Fest but would be up for a meet at some point.

At Christmas we had.....two cat carriers, a puppy pen (folded), a microwave (in a box), 2 or three biggish bags, a double duvet, 4 pillows, and various other pieces of crap slotted in to small spaces!!

A couple of weeks ago a withheld number kept ringing me over about 4 days. Whenver I answered it hung up, but if I didn't answer it kept ringing. Was really starting to annoy me so the next day I was going to ring Vodafone but it stopped and hasn't happened since. Wierd, huh?

Saw a red 'rado on the A46 in Old Sodbury this morning about 10.15 ish, I was in the police van behind, you turned left towards Chipping Sodbury at the crossroads.

Er, I haven't removed the slam panel on a 'rado but on my golf it was easy. Mind you, I had a Haynes telling me where all the bolts were! IIRC, the bumper/splitter needs to come off, remove lights and then undo the bolts on the slam panel. Easily a 1 day job.

Yeah, I had the same problem. The key wouldn't turn so I had VW change the ignition barrel. After that the key turned but the car wouldn't start because they had broken the immobiliser. In the end they just cut loads of wires and by passed the immobiliser and left loads of cut wires just hanging around :bad-words:

LOL, cheers. Had to have a new water pump :? but apart from that it passed the MOT with flying colours. No advisory things at all. :)

Haynes says ' the glow plug control unit is located behind the facia, above the main relay box.' Is this what you're after?

You have definately made the right decision to buy a VR6 (yes I'm baised too) As people have already said, check out the buying guide on here for what to look out for etc. 5-6K will get you a excellent car, or spend a little less and then spend some money doing it up, depends on your preference really. 5-6k would probably get you a Storm if you want one. Storms have been discussed to death on here so a quick search will probably throw up all you need to know! Oh and yes there are a few females on here (it's been a while since someone called me a lady though! :wink: )
