vdubjb, What an absolute crock of sh1t man! I'll give anyone a drive of my car and if i didn't tell you it had a lits flywheel on you'd never mention it! vdubjb said, "The stock f/w is able to dissipate heat through mass" How about it stores too much heat and does nothing to help the clutch cool down? Which isn't good on a performance engine that gets used for just that! All i can say is that you must not have one and have read bull on forums and perpetuate roumers that are rubbish. Chris

Yip i remember it too, wasn't he a regular on the Yahoo Egroup back in the day? But who was the owner, anyone remember? Chris

the VR for £2000 was an auto aswell! Chris

I have a 6Lb alloy flywheel, and the noticeable difference was on starting is span over and started with a quick rev up to 1500-2000rpm then settled at a little higher tick over than the OE ittem. The revs do fly up quicker and no i don't get stalling when idling at all and there seems no negative implications that i can report. The jills aren't a problem with the VR6 but mine is supercharged and it's got to be a good mod to do if you can fit it yourself other wose it can be a costly mod. The fitting is easy, just unbolt everything then bolt it up to the right torque pressures and you're done, takes some time but not hard. Mine's a Eurosport one supplied by NS-Racing. I was discussing these recently with NSR regarding a group buy but i don't think there'd be enough unterest so haven't moved on it but if i'm wrong then i can discuss it further. Chris

I sometimes get a little worried that soon people will want to start having sex with Vince for one reason or another  Chris

The best and ONLY stuff to use is that specified by the dealer and now sold by ECP and poss a few others, it is different to the normal swag and i've know a number of pumps that have suffered because of wrong fluid. Often if it's noisy because of wrong fliud it won't recover as the seals/bearings have been damaged Chris

rmn, ok then how much can you get one for, i would like one too as people have said they are the most satisfying mod for the money if you have enough powere to cause problems with traction in the first place. Chris

Enjoyed looking at all those pics, makes you feel like you want to go do some stuff! Chris

I'm not sure about the 16v but the one on the VR does have a seal that slips on the sensor but you can slide it off to fit onto the new one, it can't seal without it so it sounds like you need the seal Chris

kevin, No probs mate, I like the banana  ben16v, I'm the webmaster so yeah i can do as many forum decals as needed! Andi just has to aproach me, or one of the mods that has the power. I'll trim down the full sides, it takes too long to load anyway, i use 2.2Mbps connection and it still takes some time before the background loads etc. Thanks Chris -
I use this forum the most out of all the ones i visit, i like to think of it as my home forum! Plus because i trust a good number of people on here and always can be sure of a response one way or another i would like to put to you a judgement question. My Decals page is growing more annoying as time goes by and i am going to revamp it, possibly with your suggestions. What decals suould and should not be displayed? If the Corrado forum wants to be there then get it emailed to me and i'll pop it on. I'll offer mucho cheep decals to anyone whom contributes if asked! Look forward to your views. Decal page Chris

"Good to go!" Reminds me of that film 'Contact' where what's her name is sitting in the pod ready to drop into the machine to go travel through time to meet her dear old dead dad. Chris

Can you remember how many Escort MKII's there were around on the streets years aago? Many is the answer, but now there's none, or near to none. I one goes past you do notice it and follow it woth your eyes because of how rare they are now compared to how common they were. Chris

I'd say that the faults and problems you had should make you feel all fuzzy and warm! a lead problem is what i have too, but only 2 fault codes from the ABS sensors is good! All seems well and curious about RRoading it to see what it turns out and if it's as good as it seems? Chris

It IS the look i like, everyone has thier own taste so don't let anyone throw you off if you like them yourself, do it for you and at the price ad if they are all in that good a condition with nice tyres on i'd be happy enough. They're nicer than mine! Chris

Enjoyed those 3 more than i should have. Was into Escorts many years ago and had a MKII Escort for 7 1/2 years and it was orange, like propper orange! Loved it, great one GIXXERUK At one point with the RS1800 i'm sure my eyes glazed over  Chris

This is the one i prefer but less useful if you need to flare a pipe in situe than the red handled ones which work well but you need to be careful and place the pipe exactly in the right place in the tool or you get a poor flare Chris
