Some cars are just a bag of w@nk in all honestly but Geo, you have no place to f**king slag me down like bud cos you are speaking from no place of experience, it's all c0ck, the chains are great and never snap, it's other things that cause problems, i like my worn guides  i've got 169000miles nearly and it's no bother, just did 155mph on the way back after 3pints of scrumpy/stella snakebite and the chains sounded fine in the darkness of the motorway! Twaddle i say to you young fools! But Mr Wire does have a good point about the oil pressure not tensioning the chains on cranking cos i've seen the chains jump a tooth on a couple of ocassions, what a quandry, anyway i'm babbling now so i'm going to bed chickens, night! Nar that's just optimax on a std engine with the charger on, don't use an oil cooler but i have a Nissan Primera oil cooler i was going to try and impliment, never used the nos this year even once, never needed too but might just squirt it if i run into Mr Wire on a dual carriage way some day! Chris

"Chrishill" Then shag his mom and kill his dog! make sure you get that the right way around "RACK" Although it would have more effect if you got it the wrong way round! My god, i found myself laughing outloud F@ck that was funny lads! major giggles!     Is he a big bad bloke? This has a bearing on the ensuing events! Many options but it dependus upon what you are yourself, tell the police and confront him and get him to repair it and offer serious threats if not else kick his head in then shag the dog and kill his mam! Lost me, what you on about? Chris

Who knows but that's what it says, seems to read correctly at all other times and regularly gets to 140C so i don't really worry. Chris

What's the great thing, i feel let down, explain? Chris -
I showed over 160C lastnight at 100mph on the motorway  Chris
-
As you know i have a Charged VR, I was coming home lastnight up the motorway from down south to the northeast and sitting at 100mph mostly with the odd overtaking burst of 150mph and at a constant 100mph i saw 164C oil temp and my engine's fine so what's the crack with the 94C issue? Chris
-
All this talk is just that! The parts will not fail but go on and on for a vrey long time even after the guide has cracked as shown and the pad seperates, don't worry yourselves about it, it's just parts and you'll change them when you do but no desperite rush cos nowt will go drastically wrong, chill out! Chris

what is CIS?> Chris

I'd say an oil cooler would be an essential addition in this case. I was racing home against Chrishill a little while ago from the Leeds meet and i saw 138C oil temp on the motorway, i think i could do with one too! Chris

Chris you need a zorst next matey vdubjb, 1/2 the corrados in the states are in california...!!! wonder why that is? Chris -
I considered adding a comment earlier on in the thread but didn't. The only thing i can offer is that i can appreciate the obvious hard work involved and just hope most was done by your own fair hands! But pretty much everything about the car shouts chav instead of being refined, the lifted rear bonnet mounts are a good idea as mine builds up a huge amount of heat in the engine bay with the charger on the VR but the dump valve  and the exhaust is just too loud with no tone or 6cylinder scream, it sounds akin to a saxo noisy exhaust or similar, and the list goes on, can't say i like what's been done at all and this is why i refrained from commenting earlier but on the other hand i do respect your taste and efforts so that's where i lie. My VR as i'm sure you know has a number of mods including the Vortech charger and nitrous but no piss ant dump valve and no poxy nob purge valve either and the car is more refined with it's more subtle exhaust which does scream at high revs but not as open as yours that will be uncomfortable in constant use i'm sure, I'd like to see the car in real life to get a better feel for it but i think these kind of cars done like this are very hard to sell even more so that it's a Corrado! Just my thoughts and feelings and not meaning to cause offence so hope you don't take it out of context. Chris

Some one recently said that there are a lot of silver Corrado's coming to light and now i think there are altogether too many Corrado owning Chris's on here now! And there's even some Silver Corrado owning Chris's! Chris
