I can vouch for Bristol's ride being superb, very impressed indeed. Was quite nippy too, for a G60 :oops: only jookin, it eats mine up under 4k :-(

I liked the colour of that mad G40 polo at E38, ill find a pick. It was very similar to toffee rado's, but slightly more silver/blue too it. or how about that portafino blue they do the fiat coupes in. Its like a blue version of ice grey violet ;-)

ive just bought a Blaupunkt CD rom based sat nav head unit. It finds a signal in about 10 seconds everytime and is bang on. Its very simple, just arrows but very good speech, imo all you need unless you want the pose factor of a green line that moves slightly. You can save 10 routes and still play CDs as it can store in its internal memmory. IT very oem looking too which i like and wicked sound quality off the cd. Having said that i am financing clutch/chains and some boost work so it will be for sale on here tommorrow. That aside, i'd go tomtom 1.

Speaking of claims, my dads best mate at school for yrs was Chris Goffey (I may have spelt that wrong). Second all the above really. Bugger all gain on a flowed VR head from what ive heard, for the money. Is the head tired? I fitted my own coilies on the drive in less than 2 hrs. The hardest bit is dropping it up and down tweaking the height just right. My FKs are not to bad but not as comfortable as H&Rs or KWs. The FKs use Koni dampers btw. £488 to fit and set up the kit is way over priced imo

I suspect if you try and push start it who evers pushing will end up through the back window when the clutch is dumped due to the compression ratio! Id go with the advice above!

OSV, that was your mates car at 38 was'nt it. I remember saying how much i loved those wheels. I'd get um furbed and keep um J_S_M, i think they would look sh.t hot on any C!!

ill ask about this at my garage tommorrow morning and let you know what they say. Did they replace both chains? Did they use the Mk4 top tensioner? How worn was your old one when it came out?

At least you have pretty much if not the only brand new 2.9 bottom end in the country! i'd also love a go in your car, because i dare say it would eat mine for breakfast lunch and dinner under 4k. 2 different mod routes.
