This is true but the I was thinking that If you are wanting something but it is not urgent and you are aware someone else is after the same thing then why waste yours or someone elses cash by bidding after it. I get the whole auction thing and there are usually a few people after the same Rado items on the bay so it is probably just a dribbling hungover idea.

I overtake, when it is safe and when I can see the clear point ahead, Not because Im in a hurry or because the size of my knob is an issue to me but because I enjoy driving a capable car quickly. If you want to flash me or swerve then do so, Im already gone and you are not my problem, the only time it becomes a problem is when they speed up, They are watching your bumper and not the road infront, thus If I need to brake for horses or tractors or a fine young lass in a beer garden then they are barreling up behin you with a red mist. The middle lane thing is my biggest problem, I must admit to ocasional undertaking, when I can see no old bill, but usually I make a point of overtakeing 2 lanes and then keep my indicator on left till ive over taken then and back on to the inside lane. Roundabouts happen so quickly that I never worry about them the thing that gets me is when someone has taken the wrong lane and ends up floundering about where they are going. those you have to watch out for as they are into uncharted teretory and are liable to make some ridiculous manouvers.

Mine was just a dvd player and cost 90 from currys. Not sure about the tv recievers, BTW how can they get you for TV licence with one of those? :)

Ive got one of these in my work car. For when Im hanging about for a couple of hours waiting for clients. Nowt adventurous like hard wiring it in, but I do have a cassette addaptor so the sound comes through the main stereo. the screen is big enough to see clearly and only one pixel is fubar.

claybar the windscreen then rainX works for me, But I know what you mean about the water spraying over the wipers onthe downward stroke. Most annoying.

Oh yeah, Thats mental, and the panniers are a cool touch. They did a merc e class in the same paintjob too. IMO the merc pulled of the new rust effect better but Im loving the rusty plastic bumpers.

:D Service stations count as private roads. Sorry if my post came across as abrupt, and I hope for your sake that you are getting high MPG figs, it just amazes me to see that something as simple as engine management on can make such a huge difference on 2 of the same lumps.

Fill her up to the brim. drive for 200 miles and fill her up again. Work out the differences. From there you have your known consumption over a known distance, As for overfueling on the run up to stealth and reading 34mpg. :shock: I have only seen 34mpg once in mine and that was on a busy but moving trip down the M4 at a steady 70mph. Usual is 24/6 depending on what mood Im in.

Jeepers? 525 miles of a tank? I get about 340 out of mine? (was that in one journey?) You absolutely sure they didn't swap your vr for a Diesel lump? :lol:
