Well thats your problem mate, cheapo supersports, you get what you pay for with suspension. Just get the V2's mate you will love them.
-
After trying uprated springs and shocks and were damping adjustable them going coilover i would now always go coilover. For the most part they are alot more comfortable than standard stuff and yes the roads are really bad around my way too its just the odd time they are worse its the trade off you live with. Coilovers are not the bone shakers they used to be. I would def go adjustable damping even if you never change once set up but at least you can fine tune the ride you want and increase the balance of the car with more over/understeer
-
I know they are different suspension but when i pit my FK's on the softest setting, the back end was way too walloway, even cornering mildly fast was not nice, i dont see why you would want to set them to the softest.

I have never liked the look of the VR6 but after seeing Kip's i came home and started looking at VR6's to buy

Looks like you need some new alloys mate  -
Well thats what i thought, drove the TT then jumped in the c, what a difference. Trust me fit the forge items, do both throw and side [2 seperate bits needed] then fit a heavy big knob forgr do one, its then really really short, precise and not stiff at all, my mrs drives it daily no problems and never moaned about it been annoying, i could have fitted it without telling her and she would have not noticed.

Even when sourcing Corrado specific subframes more than likely the seats will sit too high, best bet for the correct height is to get the hard fixed mounts.
-
It just makes sense to have 6 better spaced gears mated to the engine that its meant to be with and the added benefit of a better gearchange feel. You got a short shift fitted to the leon?
-
I just want the 6 speeds, much much bettergearstick thingy and a forge short shift kit, on the TT that is mint as, so slick yet so precise and smooth, a real pleasure to change gear. Then a diff in it FWD so i can justify the extra weight without the 4wd, thats the way im leaning towards at the minute, but that still changes daily. Tomorrow we will have the O2M 4wd conversion. :D So where can i find a 2wd O2M, which cars, assuming i might also get the engine as well whilst im there.

I know but its a road track car and IF i went Haldex it would help alot then. This thread is about FWD O2M
-
Thats the plan but staying with a proper engine
-
That looks nice, any ideas on price and how come you can find it on there. Is it only the 6 cylinder stuff that needs the rear mount moving then. 20vt not so.
-
Not even thought that far yet, just thinking out loud so to speak.
-
Well thats what i thought, the transfer box causing issues as i remember biggerbigben having to mod stuff, hence why i wondered if stuff needed to be changed still if using the FWD O2M.
-
I cant find it on C2's site any ideas where it is.

-
Yes i know but there is also a gearbox mount.
-
If i was to convert to O2M, will the Dutchdub mount be ok or is that O2M Haldex specific.
-
Awesome stuff, time to unload some Recaro's then
-
You got me looking at EVO's last night, of all the EVO's i would have the 6 for the looks, its the classic EVO but the dash does my head in something chronic, based on i see that the most after looking around i would have to go for the 8 or 9 as its slightly more Corradoesqu been flatter. Sniggers at your going to leave it standard..... :ignore: :epicfail:
-
I have done everything and then its not what i want so im selling it all and starting from scratch again, its the only way to get another mag feature :D Hundreds of ponies Haldex 2 buckets Flocking Weld in cage Done..... :cuckoo:
