  1. I ran coilovers with 17 x 7.5 ET35 as it should be on an early dropped roughly 50mm, loads of clearance on the inside, the inner arch liner on the outside would catch the wheel but its took 5 years to only just rub through.
  2. Exactly what i was told with the bolts, apparently there was about 2 threads worth holding them on @ 260bhp  No need to buy the expensive hub centric spacers either, it kust makes getting the wheel on a little more awkward without but its easy enough.
  3. On my old wheels i had 2mm clearance with an 8mm spacer and standard length bolts, Jabba said get some longer bolts on, i never had a problem and never changed the bolts, if it spins now then a 5mm spacer will be plenty, for cool looks you want it as close as you can so it makes the brakes look bigger.
  4. What you using to remove the glue on the bonnet? Those arches are crying out for some splits and pleeease widen the front arches to matc the rear, looking good so far.
  5. Freaky stuuf, it was only today i was thinking of asking this same question, when will Top Gear be back on.
  6. Already told him when he bought them to put dot 5 in. He has my old full kit calirers discs DS2500 pads and braided hoses. The pads stopped any brake fade full stop. With no ABS they would lock up if provoked. As i said they were too good.
  7. Yep agree, 3 months ago Shell V Power was 96p a litre now its 1.13p a litre.
  8. Ah but thats only because you want the parts im selling
  9. Trust me you wont need to do the rears, they were too good on my car never mind with doing the rears, you dont want the rear end swinging round on you by too much braking force. Make sure they clear your rims 1st before spending on the rears, for looks just increase the disc size with standard power calipers and paint them red if you like to match, you can even get Brembo stickers on. Trust me your going to be shocked at how effective those brakes are. Approx 70-80% of the braking is done with the front.
  10. I love how the videos make them look slower than they are, remember that crossing the finish line they are doing in the 140mph+
  11. All alignment does is align it to various settings, so for increased turn in toe them in, for more steering wheel self centreing give it more castor, for better cornering grip camber them in and so on. If you want them all perfectly straight then tell them that but understand the effect it has on handling etc, to all be perfectly straight in every direction may not mean best grip.
  12. I had the front wheels toe'd in slightly to help turn in. Technically there are not exactly supposed to be a certain way as such, its more of how do you want it to drive.
  13. You want to buy the 68mm pulley with the SNS 5 chip, the fueling would then be suited for the pulley. SNS chip = remap. No need to do both.
  14.   totally shameless, but also trying to help a fellow froum member out. Here is my thread mate http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... 13&t=79861
  15. The green dubweiser mk1 has a 2.2 audi turbo engine in it, last i heard circa 700bhp but was getting redone for more power. Andy Waites white mk1 is something like 500bhp 20vt with 200 nos on top. Its fast off the line, but when he hits 2nd and 3rd you can see the car squirming a bit side to side, @ spring fest he killed 4th gear going up the pod and still did an 11+ 1/4
  16. Seriously that car is an animal having seen it launch at the pod, my god its quick. If you saw the car you really could appreciate the amount of money thats gone into it.
  17. Which i happen to have an oil cooler and intercooler for sale byt the way. :D Also a rear upgrade Anti roll bar in 25mm is essential, i happen to have one for sale too as luck would have it.
  18. Depends on what is not working, the corrado has auto closure and im sure on the late it will close the sunroof too, might be wrong the clifford wires into the auto closure i believe.
  19. My TT runs about 86 as you say.
  20. Thanks to radojunkie for superfast payment :D
  21. Which one Rob as there is a few but two in the pics? BUT they are all from Jabbasport, the airfilter one was made up by Jabba specially for the induction from air filter to turbo, the other was in the kit for the intercooler. I have absolutely no idea if its possible but thats the aim, literally anything that can go is gonna go, but then add in the 50kg for the cage. Basically as vrturbo6dude says :D
